I feel the sadness in you
A broken soul longing for release
The universe conspires
Bringing us together at last
In this time
In this place
Two strangers bound by fate
When our eyes met on the train
I felt the fire between us
You did as well I'm sure
As I followed you home
I knew we were meant for this
One night is all we have

Your screams pierce through me
As I free you from this prison
Your eyes say no
Yet your heart begs
I see it inside you
Trust my steady hand
I will break the chains
Binding you to this dark world
Believe in my love
Deeper than you can imagine
In mercy I bury the blade
Your blood runs as your life drains
I release you
Free to fly you are
