My Brother?! (Chapter 20)
~~ Cinderleaf's P.O.V. ~~I was limping back to camp with herbs in my jaws when all of a sudden I see a Starclan cat in front of me. I drop the herbs from shock and blinked my eyes to see if I was dreaming. I wasn't because they were still there!
"Hello, Cinderleaf," The cat said. By their voice, I could tell this cat was a tom. "I am Blueraven." "W-who are you?" I asked, still not sure what was happening. I have never met this cat before, so who were they? "Like I said before, I am Blueraven," The cat said, smiling softly. "I am your brother." "M-my brother?!" I exclaimed. I knew I had a brother and I knew that they died, but I didn't know that cats could age in Starclan! I thought they stayed the same age, height, weight, etc. I guess I was wrong...? I didn't know what to do so I just stood there.
"You ok? Did I scare you too much?" He chuckled. "N-no! I just wasn't expecting my b-brother to come back to me," I said. Blueraven only laughed, "You wanna know how I grew up in Starclan, don't you?" I nodded and he started talking. "Well, they made an exception for me. They said I could grow up like you and get my warrior name there. It was difficult since it took a while to perfect the results of the change, but look at me now! I'm as old as you, a bit taller, and I got my warrior name!" Blueraven smiled brightly, his eyes shining brightly which made me smile as well. I never thought I would see my brother smile.
"I-I should tell Yellowclaw! She'll be s-so happy!" I said. "No, you mustn't tell anyone! Starclan said to never let anyone else except you know!" Blueraven quickly said. "B-but...Yellowclaw misses you, Blueraven. She loves you," I said, confused on why he couldn't tell his own mother. "That doesn't matter now! What does matter is that I'm as old as you now and that you know I'm ok!" Blueraven smiled softly. I sighed. I guess he was right...?
"Anyways, I have to go! See you tonight in your dreams, Cinderleaf!" Blueraven said and faded away, probably already back up in Starclan. "B-bye, Blueraven." I said and smiled softly.
'At least I met my brother.'
