New Members! (Chapter 14)
Cinderpaw's P.O.V.Today I went on a hunting patrol. I don't know why but I felt like I needed to. The others on the patrol said I couldn't go but the deputy put me on the patrol so they had to live with it! As I was chasing a rabbit I accidentally ran into Riverclan territory. A Riverclan cat that was fishing came up to me.
"Why are you on my territory?" The cat asked. She kind of looked like Mapleshade in a sort of way. "I'm sorry. I was chasing a rabbit and it led me here." I explained. The cat nodded and introduced herself, "I'm Mapleclaw, a Riverclan warrior. And you are?" "I'm Cinderpaw, Thunderclan's Med Cat." I introduced myself after she did. I then heard a few voices calling for Mapleclaw. Mapleclaw excused herself and left.
I turned around to go find another piece of prey.
After I left Riverclan territory, I looked for more prey on the Windclan side of the forest. I didn't find much prey but I did find a few Windclan cats stealing prey from the Thunderclan's side of the river that separates the forest from the Moore Lands.
"Hey! Stop stealing Thunderclan prey!" I shouted to them. A grey-and-white she-cat jumped in surprise at my shout. "I'm s-sorry! I d-didn't know!" She said. "Yes you did! You look like a warrior." I told her.
"W-well..." The Windclan she-cat trailed off like she was hesitating. "I'm Ivyflower. I'm a n-new Windclan w-warrior." Ivyflower said. 'No wonder why she looks young.' I thought. "Well, next time just don't pass the stream." I said as I pointed to the stream with my tail. "N-no problem! I won't ever p-pass it again unless its a-an emergency!" Ivyflower stuttered. I nodded and Ivyflower ran off to her group of Windclan cats.
I then turned to go to the Shadowclan's side of the forest to see if they were up to any trouble.
When I finally arrived to Shadowclan's side of the forest, I was tackled by something. When I looked to see what it was, I saw a black cat with bright green eyes.
"Why, hello there!" The cat greeted me. "I'm Hollyclover. Nice to meet ya!" Hollyclover beamed.
"H-hi... Um... Can you get off of me now?" I asked her. "Oh yeah! Sorry..." She giggled and got off of me.
"Who are you?" Hollyclover asked, tilting her head. "I'm Cinderpaw... Thunderclan's medicine cat apprentice..." I introduced myself. She smiled and gave me a look. "Do you like anyone?" She asked. "No..." I lied. She seemed fine with that answer and didn't ask again. Hollyclover asked me many questions about being a Med Cat. I couldn't answer all of them because she didn't give me enough time to.
~~ 10 minutes later ~~
After what seemed like an eternity even though it was only 10 minutes, someone called for Hollyclover. Hollyclover said goodbye and left. I sighed in relief and turned to go back to my camp. After what happened today, I felt like I deserved a nap. So that's exactly what I did when I got back to camp. I went to my nest in the Med Den and went to sleep.
(The spotted cat is Mapleclaw, the grey and white cat is Ivyflower, the black cat is Hollyclover.)
