Sesa

Sesa walked the school halls, bored out of his skull.
"Jeez, what a drag..."
Kara ran up and jumped onto his back.
"TO NARNIA!" She said, giggling cutely. Sesa rolled his eyes and walked on, carrying her weight with ease.
She bounced up and down a little, and she felt herself cling to him harder. She didn't know why, but touching him was a bit like having a security blanket.

She just felt safe.
She felt he'd protect her against everything, against the bullies...
Against the fact that's she's a--

"Oi, what are you doing?" He asks, pulling her out of her dream state. She opened her eyes to find her lips mere inches from his, and she fought back the worst blush of her life. She thought quickly, then replied, "Oh, I thought you had something stuck in your teeth."
"And you were gonna kiss me to tell me that?"
She blushes a bit.
"Uh-"
"Whatever."

He sticks his hands in his hoodie pocket and walks off, plugging his ear buds in.
She mentally slapped herself.
Why had she almost kissed him?
That was a cool move!!

"Oh god... I can't be... I don't even know him!" She states to herself, running her hands through her hair as she walked the halls, secretly following him. "Well, this isn't wrong, is it? I'm just making sure he's safe."
As she spied on him, she took mental notes about his behavior, his attitude, and how he was in general. She never met anyone who just didn't care, someone who, as a person, just was... In a way...
"Like me..." She says, smiling as she clutched to the side of the building she was hiding behind. She leaned against the wall, her hand over her heart as she watched the white haired male walk to his next class.

She felt her heart flutter and beat faster at the thought of him wrapping his muscular arms around her, of how she'd have to stand on her tippy toes in order to touch her Jose with his, of how he'd lean in and--
"Oh... My god..." She whispers, hyperventilating quietly. "I think I'm in love with a total stranger..! I... I can't believe it.."
She scowled, then nodded. "I need help..."

She steals one more glance at him, and, upon seeing his safe arrival at his next class, made her way to the councilor. The receptionist looked up from his work and smiled.
"Hey, Kara. Doc's in the office, so go on in." He says, nodding to the councilors office.
She smiled cutely and thanks him, then walks into the door.

Doc looked up from her papers, smiling when she saw Kara. "Kara, what a pleasant surprise. Take a seat." She says, motioning to the chair in front of her desk. Kara takes a seat, a tad nervous. "What's the matter this time?"
Kara bites her lip.
"There's this boy..."
Doc stops doing what she was doing immediately, dropping her pen and looking up at her. "Huh? A boy?" She asks, shock and disappointment making her voice crack a little.

Kara nods.
"We only spoke once, but I tried to kiss him and... Well, I think I might be in love with him." She says, fiddling with her hands. "And I know its crazy, but I j--"
"Kara, honey, let me tell you something about boys." She says, adjusting her glasses. "They, at this age, want only one thing. And if you give it to him, you'll lose all respect for yourself." She says, laying her hand on Kara's.
Kara sighs and nods. "Thanks doc..."

Doc smiles.
"But a kiss is fine. Its just, you can't help how you feel about them. Besides, love comes in... Many forms." She says softly, smiling kindly at her.
Kara thought about it, then smiled brightly. "I got it!" She states, hopping up and speeding toward the door. "Thank you, Doc! I'll take your advice and use it, I swear!" She says, leaving quickly, ready and excited to get her plan underway.

The Doc sighed and sat in her chair for a moment, looking at the papers on her desk. She suddenly jolts up and locks the door, her hands shaky as she locks the deadbolt.
"Its fine, Mary..." She says, going to her desk and pulling out a drawer for a picture. "Its all gonna go your way soon." She mumbles, looking at the picture of Kara, her heart racing. "She'll realize that she's like you, and then you can be with her..."

After all, all she had to do was keep giving her advice until she realizes that Sesa wouldn't care for her the way she does.
