Chapter 2; "Blood"
After they completely faded, Jake's back slammed against a large metal spike. The spike lodged through Jake's back and through his belly. He looked down at his stomach and saw the tip of the spike through him, "Damn.. Well this sucks..".Jake didn't feel the pain, but instead he lifted himself off the spike and examined the hole it made through him. He touched the hole, and if faded and returned to it's normal self. Jake didn't even care about this magic, instead he continued to look back up and at the spike. Then he looked at where here was standing, and around him.
The room he was in was dark, and not a lot was going on. The walls where striped black and purple, and the floor was a black and white checkerboard pattern. There where no lights, which made it hard to see and there was no ceiling since he just fell..
Jake started to walk towards one of the walls so he could check if there was any other openings... There was none, however, there was an overly large chair sitting in the corner of the room. The chair reached where the walls ended. Jake ran towards the chair and made his way onto the 4 foot high seat. He climbed onto the back of the chair and hoisted himself onto the corner edge of the wall. He looked down and saw everlasting brightness.. Then he jumped.

There was a soft buzzing in the background and a short breeze against his face. Jake opened his eyes, which revealed he was in an alley. Jake's eyes looked up towards his hair, which was now a blackish-brown color with a few blood stains hidden in some parts. Jake made his hand reach into his soft hair. He stroked his hand through and then brang his hand back down.
To Jake's surprise, he couldn't tell if the blood was from his hand or his hair. His hand was torn and looked like it was bitten by rats. Jake wondered how awful he looked right now..
Jake sat up and saw a puddle nearby. Along with the sight of a puddle, he saw his pants, torn and bloody, "What the hell happened?" Jake asked himself.
He got up and made his way over to the puddle. When he peered in and saw his image, he realized his eyes where gone. Logic overtook Jake's brain; "How can I see?" "Where did my eyes go" "Where's Umbrel and Mom?" "Where am I?"
He started to panic, but then.. At the corner of his eye, he saw a road.. A street. He needed to get help, and there it was!
