Swift's story

My first mission? Total disaster

Now that I'm 13, I can finally go on my first mission! "I'm so excited!" I squealed like a little kid finally able to go on the best ride in the amusement park. "Now now Swifty, you know the mission can get dangerous." Rouge sounded like she was my mom, and I considered her as that. She was always there for me like a true mom would, and Topaz as well, ever since I lost Shadow and Maria back on the ark, I've never been myself.
Topaz came in the room and handed me a jumpsuit. "Put this on, you'll need it. Rouge come on, we've got to get ready as well." Rouge nodded and went out the door, Topaz followed but before she left the room she told me "Meet us in the weaponry room, we'll be waiting." I nodded as she left the room. I put on my jumpsuit and some headgear that was included the jumpsuit. I tried to put my hair in a ponytail but failed every time, but I eventually did it.
I walked out my room to the weaponry room with excitement and disappointment. 'After all these years, I still haven't found my brother' I thought with clear sadness. My eyes teared up, But only three tears escaped my eyes. As I approached the weaponry room, I stopped right in front of the door. I waited until I felt as if they won't notice I was crying. I went in the room only to find that it was full (and when I mean full I mean FULL) of guns, and ammunition, bow and arrows, crossbows, anything you can possibly think of, but I couldn't stay and admire the view, I had Rouge and Topaz waiting for me. I looked left and there they were talking to that fat guy we so call the president. I never really liked him, nor did I ever trust him, but I can't believe I work for the fatso.
I walked up to them and as always said "Good morning Mr.President." I saluted him as every G.U.N. agent would do. He looked at me with a smile on his face and responded back in sincere words "Good morning agent Swift I look forward to your ceremony today." 'My ceremony? What ceremony?' I thought with confusion, then all of a sudden without thinking I say "What ceremony Mr.President?" He looked at me in surprise and then looked at Topaz and Rouge the both of them had nervous looks on their faces. "You two haven't told her?" The president said that with shock in his voice, "Tell me what?" I said that wanting to know desperately what they were hiding. Topaz and Rouge stayed silent, then Rouge broke the silence "Well, we should get going. Missions not gonna complete itself! Right Topaz?" "Right Rouge! We better get a move on! Right Swift?" "Umm..... I guess?" "Well then let's go!" they both said in usion, pushing me away from where I was standing to the other side of the room. 'What was that all about?' I thought, trying to figure it out 'A ceremony? What have I done that deserves a ceremony?'
  "Ahem." Topaz cleared her throat, which made me snap back into reality "Hmm?" I said clearly not knowing what was going on. "Well  little Swifty,we need about five minutes 'till we go on our mission. You can choose over any weapon you want." Rouge told me. I nodded then started taking a look around.
I saw bow and arrows, 'I'm a good aimer, but what use will that do?" I thought then continued on with my search. As I went deeper into the room I stumbled upon two huge GM 46' just lying there "Whoa...." I couldn't help but to say it out loud. I looked into it's chamber and it had enough ammo to last the whole mission. I grabbed both of the GM 46' and went back to Topaz and Rouge. When i got there, their eyes widened when they looked at the guns I got, but quickly snapped back into reality and escorted me to the car. All the way to to our mission I kept thinking about that talk we just had with the president 'What was that all about? A ceremony? Today? For me? Why?'
We finally got to our destination everybody got off the car quieter than a butterfly landing on a leaf. Topaz started doing signals with her hands, and I understood. Me, Perez (G.U.N. agent), and her were to go to the south side of the building, while the others create a distraction from the north side. The plan seemed very simple, it was just in and out, but then things got complicated.
Topaz, Perez and me were already inside, we could hear the bombs the others were throwing on the north side. The deeper we went inside the place, the more suspicious I grew. We reached a room with the numbers HJ-305/115 on it. Well thats the room we need to into. With my GM 46' gripped tight and close to me I was signaled to knock down the door, and so I did. we went in and the three of us went our separate way this time.
I went my way, so did the others. Now i knew I was going to go at it alone. As I went deeper, I saw a Black blur run past me. 'What the hell was that?' I thought as I gripped my gun tighter and put it closer to me. The black blur past by me again, and this time I caught sight of it, and noticed it looked kind of like Shadow. 'What? No, no, no ,no, no.... It can't be... Can it?'. As it passed me a third time I tripped the black blur and it fell on the floor with a loud thud. It got back up quickly and looked at me. I couldn't see what it was or who was it was too dark to tell. Then it suddenly screamed out "CHAOS BLAST!". After that I fell to the ground hard. All I hear next is a familiar voice screaming my name "Swift! Swift!" but it all sounded so far away until I blacked out.
