Hi it Clawdacat.If you know Russian you may have noticed some of the names sound like Russian words, this is intentional. I'll point out the names: Belaia means 'White', a nod to her pelt, Teyne means 'shadow', a nod to his personality, Horosho means 'good' or 'ok', a nod to his personality. Those are the main lions with Russian words in their names, but background characters like the king and Queen or Nidju's mother also have Russian words.
