Snowflake & Flower
I walk outside, to the woods, thinking for a whileno end in mind, stepping along, hoping for fun
Through the trees, what I see, catches me by surprise
Nothing more, nothing less, an odd pair in the sun
Two young women, short and small, lay out in the grass
Both awake, bright blue eyes, their skin so white and fair
Neither seem to look at me, petite Asian lass
But now I see the flower cries, matting her light hair
Snowflake turns her face to me, sending me a look
Her eyes warn me of cold harsh wind, if I should stay
I nod and she turns away, pulling out a book
It's titled 'Wings of Heaven;' it steals breath away
I wake in bed without the light; I am back home
The wind comes in, so cold and harsh, makes me shiver
