The Deal
A deal? What sort of deal? Elora stood there motionless. This sinister creature was offering her a way to save the children. But at what cost she wondered.
"Hurry! I'm starting to get bored. Some kids might have to suffer to keep keep me entertained!" Roy teased.
"Shut it! I know, but it's a difficult decision. I can't really trust you with the lives of the kids." she exclaimed
What was his plan? Could she really save the kids? Or was he just tricking her? So many questions swam in her head. But the answer was clear.
"Demon, tell me what kind of deal is it?" she asked
"Well it's simple, you will just have to come with me. You will accompany me. Your soul and your strengths, I need to test and study them. You will obey my every demand and listen to everything I say." he answered
"What! I would never listen to the words of a demon! You despicable monster! You should go back to burring in hel...!" The ground started to shake before Elora finished the sentence. Had she made him mad?
"Now, now. Let´s not lose our temper. Remember whose lives are on the line.¨ his eyes glowed blue like Hell´s fire´s. He was losing interest, she could see it in his face. If she took any longer, he would kill the children.
¨Okay, I accept, I shall make a deal with you¨she silently said
¨Good choice¨ The flames stopped moving. The people stopped screaming. The beasts stopped killing. It was like time was standing still. The demon was powerful alright.
¨Okay then¨ he pulled out a scroll¨ Sign in blood please¨ he gave her the scroll and a pin. Elora looked at them both. Was she really going with this bloody monster? Her soul might be lost once she signed. Would he force her to cause pain to others? A lot of thoughts tumbled around her head. She suppressed them. There were lives in her hand. She used the pin and signed her name. Now she wondered if he would keep his promise.

She had signed without reading. She really would do anything for the the lives of the innocents. Roy looked at her. The girl seemed ready to fight and attack him. This mortal was interesting.
"You have signed and now you will never be able to break the deal. Come now with me." he released time. The fires disappeared alongside the beasts. All that he was leaving were the ruins of the village, some bodies, and a few fortunate souls that had been saved by Elora.
"Wait we can't leave the kids here!" she argued
"We can and we will. I will keep my promise of not hurting them. Now it's up to them if they want to survive."
The girl looked back. He could tell that she wanted to go protect the kids.
"If you want I can go end their sufferement right now"he stated
"No! Just leave them alone. Nothing good can come from a demon." she meekly said
"Very well then we have to get someplace before midnight so let's hurry" he started to walk
Roy had to get to the Forest of Saint Clarie. There was supposed to be a gathering today of angels. They were probably going to try and trap him. Maybe this time the first class angels would come down and finally give him a good battle. He really wanted to spill their blood on the ground. He also had to study the girl. She looked weak, like any other human, but he sensed something powerful inside of her. Right now she was struggling to catch up to him even though he was walking. That was a bit disappointing.
"Hurry up mortal! We don't have all day!" he growled
"Huff....okay...I just..n..n.need..a break" she was really tired
"Fine, but if you don't hurry I will get bored, so bored that I might have to kill something"
"Shut..u.. up demon!" she wheezed
"You really do need to stop calling me that. My name is Roy."
"Nope, demon..suits...you better."she was catching her breath now
This mortal! She was really different from his other servants.
"Okay, I'm okay now, we can continue."she declared
"Okay." I decided to teleport to the forest. Talking her "walking" would take more that a week
"You could've done that from the start right?" she looked at him with anger. \
He shrugged, he didn't really need to answer her. Plus he smelled something more interesting. The whole forest smelled to angels, and there were a lot.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The demon seemed to since something in the air. Elora could tell that he was hunting something. She followed him through the forest. He seemed to know exactly where to go. Every once in a while he smiled. But it was a smile full of blood lust. That smile scared her. Was there going to be a blood bath? How many deaths would there be? The forest was silent, a little too silent. Was this a trap? There seemed to be no animals around. The treetops were blocking the moonlight. In the distance she could see a small clearing. Was there where the battle would begin? As they grew closer to the clearing, Elora sensed danger coming from it. She looked at the demon. But the demon wasn't there.
"Where are you demon?" had he left her? Alone here? Was this a test. Her question where quickly answered when he came back, covered in blood.
"I had to take care of a pest. Now let's continue"
What had he killed? They blood smelled sweetly bitter. She followed close behind him. This creature was dangerous. They stepped onto the clearing. Everything turned eerily still.
"Here." the demon handed me his cloak. "This way they wont be able to harm or see you."
"Who?" I asked, but he didn't answer. I put on the cloak. It was really heavy. I had a hard time moving. The demon advanced to the middle of the clearing. I was still to far away from him. And I was lucky to be far from him. Thousands of angels came out from the shadows. They all went to attack him. The blood bath was beginning.
