Day 8: Drama much?
Tuesday:That morning I was super tired so I had to put on extra makeup to hide my shadows under my eyes. At school, I struggled to stay awake
In my first subject, English I fell asleep in the middle of a Shakespeare demonstration of the true inner meanings and everything. Mrs. Reaks was furious and I ended up with detention...
The next classes I managed to wake up (with a lot of effort)
Lunch was ... ... I had to sit next TO KEVIN! ugh However, Caden and Drake were missing so... This was just for the friends...
REACTIONS:
Chloe: Mouth hanging open
Jessica: Mouth hanging open
Fiona: Mouth hanging open
While I had to sit there, twirling my hair and smiling wide with my arm around Kevin's acting like I'm in love... GAHHHHHHHHHHHH
Durning detention, Caden, and Drake was here OF COURSE!
I tapped my desk repeatedly in a little rhythm. "AHEM CAMEL! this is NOT a music room!" scolded Mrs. Reaks. "It's Cam-eel, not CAM-el Mrs. Reaks, I refused to be called an animal." I corrected "Well, I don't care, Carmel, just as YOU do not care to pronounce my name correctly, I disprove of this attitude you carry!" I rolled my eyes "Forget her Mrs. Reaks, she won't bother you, she is VERY mature." Drake commented."Say the guy who was bonking through the whole female population.." I mumbled. "Who are you to talk, Ms. Diva. Gossiping 24/7" replied Drake. I gritted my teeth. "IT IS DETENTION! THERE IS NO TALKING OR I WILL CALL YOUR PARENTS" yelled Mrs. Reaks.
I doubt they would even answer the phone..
I sighed.
Honestly, It was totally Boring! but I worked on my homework and finished like a snap. Yeah yeah, I'm ALMOST perfect. I look like a freakin' model, I am wealthy as ever, and I'm like a little bit nerd- ish. But hey, there's no such thing as perfect right? (But if there was I totally would be it.)
After that....
Drake rushed next to me while Caden walked in the opposite direction. He stepped in front of me and said "Hey, Hey! you still haven't introduced me to your "boyfriend" I rushed past him. Yet, he managed to put his arm around me "Heyy.. your not getting out that easy, Honey, I'd dealt worse than you." "Ew, that is too much information," I said as I stepped on his left foot and used my elbow to stab his gut and smoothly walked away. (took self-defense classes)
Entering our home, we heard yelling and did a little. eavesdropping..
"HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME ON CHEATING ON YOU CLARITY!" Yelled a dark scratch voice.. my dad "WELL I HAVE MULTIPLE OF REASONS! NUMBER 1: YOU NEVER TELL ME WHERE YOU GO NUMBER 2: YOUR MOM RANTS OF HOW MUCH BETTER YOU CAN DO EACH DAY NUMBER 3: MY FATHER DISAPPROVED OF YOU!" Screeched my mom. "WELL! NUMBER 1: YOU SHOULD MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS NUMBER 2: MY MOM IS RIGHT! NUMBER 3: I Don't CARE!" replied my dad in a loud voice. " IF YOU REGRETTED YOUR CHOICE SO MUCH THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME AND THE KIDS ALONE!" My mom seemed to be taken back.. there was a paused of silence, then... Albert walked out of the restroom, noticed us, opening his mouth, Drake rushed over and put a hand over it.
"Okay. I.. I.. will" Whispered my mom and I've never heard so much weakness written all over her voice.. it was unreal. Then I heard my grandmother's voice once I heard the back door slam shut "Never liked her." "I... " My dad didn't continue.
Silence filled the air, I debated either to go upstairs but dad would notice us or wait till he notices us. But then it was too late his eyes landed straight on mines when I was peeking out in the corner. "Uh. Oh right.. kids.. come .. lunch.." He mumbled and slowly one by one we piled in.
We ate in complete silence.. until "So.. what did you guys do today?" Asked dad. "School..." replied Albert, "basketball practice.. " mumbled Drake. "Okay, so what happened with the witch?" I asked abruptly. Drake and Albert gave this 'what the hell!' Look but who cares.
Dad cleared his throat " First off, she is not a witch. Second off, what happens between your mother and I are none of your concern" " Figures... I mean that's what you usually do right? Your job and personal issues is none of our concern." " Cam-" interrupted dad " No , no your right, we shouldn't confined to our families about anything. It's so true, because why bother? It's not like families support you... Of course not, just something like gum on your shoe. Burden. Useless, and especially worthless." "Camel..." "I'm not hungry anymore" I announced, wiping my mouth with a handkerchief and storming out the room
