Bonnie's Story

Moving Out

   Bonnie and Stanley flew together, they could still share a territory. Besides, they were practically brother and sister. They flew towards Bonnie's old home, the volcano. It had erupted 15 years ago, now it was calm. As Bonnie and Stanley flew into it, they seemed to feel the same strange feeling. It felt like a type of magic. "This is where life began. This is where it all started off. This is where it will go on.", Bonnie echoed. Suddenly, trees began to rise out of the volcano's edge, and inside, too! Outside, a giant tulip was growing around the volcano, rapping some of it in it's stem and leaves. Life was literally growing in the volcano.

   "This will be home", Bonnie went on. She wasn't even controlling! It was blurting out of her beak like a spell. When she finished, she knew this is where they would live. It was right near they're former nest, too. She missed Terror Claw, though, then thought about him right when she saw his shape, flying into the volcano, just like when her life started. He dove in, he looked astonished. "This is where we live now", Bonnie told him. "It's.. It's wonderful.", Terror Claw rasped. "This is where I will be now, too.", Terror Claw said. Bonnie felt excitement and happiness rush through her, taking over every other emotion. She nuzzled his beak, feeling like a baby again, wrapped in her father's wings.

   But the peace didn't last long. She saw other shapes going over and into the volcano- one of them a living bird skeleton. The other, a blue jay that looked rather possessed. The skeleton shrieked, then landed in front of them. Terror Claw protectively stood in front of Bonnie and Stanley, even though he knew he had taught them how to fight...
