My History PM'ing the Qfeast Team
So whenever I PM'd Qfeast to report a user and request to have them deleted, they always did. Whether it took a week, a day, or just 25 minutes later, they would follow through with my requests.Every time I PM'ed them about a Maggy account, they'd follow through sooner or later. Same goes for the @Mirrormirror account and Valentina. At the time, I wasn't sure who else was PM'ing the Team to report users or who was only using the "report a user" tool provided.
I wasn't sure who they were listening to when they read PM's. Whether it was certain users or all users. I was one of the certain users though. But why? Why me but not some other users who did the same?
I started to wonder more about why they only seemed to listen to my PM's about reporting users. I'm not trying to say I'm "special" because of that. But that was the truth. They didn't seem to listen to certain other user's reports from what I saw.
That's when I started to think about what Qfeast takes into consideration when actually following through user's PM requests of deletion and reports. Was it maybe that they take into consideration a user's past, and what offenses they've made towards Qfeast and the amounts of offenses?
Take into account the users who were banned multiple times for a temporary time. I was only banned once, for a bit over a week. I was banned for taking part in the Veggie Account Raid, and saying "rutabaga." Apparently during that time, any mention of a vegetable or "pants" on your wall would get you banned. That phase of Qfeast is over. Now anyone can say pants and vegetable names without getting banned.
Some users were banned more than others. So they get more strikes. My theory is that those users are viewed as "untrusted" when it comes to PM's and reports, in the eyes and rules of the Qfeast Team. So if you've been banned more than once, I think you're within that category of "untrusted."
Another way of getting on the "untrusted" Qfeast list is making offensive pages. If one of your pages or images was reported(whether it be through PM or the report user tool) then that's another major offense. It is an even larger offense if it is seemingly directed at Qfeast.
Now keep in mind that all of these offenses/strikes I'm explaining are only offenses and strikes towards your PM'ing Qfeast privileges(whether or not they'll read and follow through on your PM reports and concerns). None of these offenses/strikes are the types of offenses that will count that much or at all towards your account being banned/deleted.
I also think that you may get certain extra privileges that will boost the amount of trust that Qfeast has on you. Now this is just what I think, based on my history and past situations.
Anyways, I think Qfeast will prioritize your PM's and will actually follow through on your reports more than other users if you have been:
-sexually harassed on this site with photo evidence(screenshots)
-have any way been harassed on this site with sent photo evidence(on this site)
-have been threatened(on this site)
I think this is because Qfeast feels the need to listen to you personally, since you have somehow been harassed on their site and you have screenshot proof. That intimidates them in some way to listen to your PM's more closely than others.
Why do I think this? Well I have been sexually harassed on this site by Owen and I sent them screenshot proof and sent them other proof of Owen's sexual harassment. So because of that they must have had some sort of preference to follow through on my PM's. Users who have been explicitly harassed on this site and have sent photo evidence to the Qfeast Team must make Qfeast feel like they have an "obligation" to listen to them, since this happened on their site.
Again, this is just my theory that's based on my past experience as well as other user's.
Now they don't seem to listen to my PM's. Why? Because I have too many strikes now. I've made too many offenses and now I'm not viewed as a "trusted" and "privileged" user.
(I'm not trying to say I'm better than any of you, I'm just suggesting these might be Qfeast's reason for listening to my PM's and not other user's and also why they don't listen to me anymore).
Why am I no longer viewed as a "trusted" and "privileged" user? Because of my cemetery page. Someone must've reported it and Qfeast viewed it as a direct threat to them, because they thought my page was somewhat similar to Noa's page and could potentially be bad for their site.
Also, by "trusted" and "privileged" user I mean:
-One who has not made many offenses towards the site
-One who has experienced harassment on this site
-One who has provided photo proof of harassment to the Qfeast Team
-One who has helped mass report during the reign of the trolls
My "privileged" status to Qfeast has been overruled by the "offense" I made with the cemetery page.
I also want to add types of offenses according to Qfeast(in order of least offensive to most offensive):
-bad words
-inappropriate images
-offense towards users
-threats towards users
-sexual harassment
-mass trolling(like the December trolls)
-offense to Qfeast specifically
-Threats towards the Qfeast site specifically
So basically the Qfeast Team itself and potential revolts against it are Qfeast's main priority, not the user's concerns.
That was my take on the Qfeast algorithm and how they view users and offenses.
These are all theories. I plan on conducting an experiment with some user's help to figure out for sure who they view as most "prioritized" and "privileged."
Again, I'm not trying to say any Qfeaster is better than another. This is just how I think the Qfeast Team views us.
