The Woods

Jay Wilson was an ordinary 12 year old. He had good parents, he had a good school, and had good friends. One day him and Kyle (Jay's friend) had got lost in the deep woods. With only a a flashlight, energy bar, pocket knife, and 2 water canteens, Jay and Kyle must fight through the forces of nature, while finding their way back to camp.

All for Nothing

Kyle decided that he was going to look further and took Jay with him. They both used the sticks stabbed into the ground for direction. They went out pretty far, about 2 miles out into the deep woods.

The boys kept walking, looking for any sign of camp. Night was approaching, and they knew they had to get back to the shelter. When they turned around, they looked to the left, and found a log cabin.

They both went towards it, in curiosity. They went inside and found a fireplace, which was good. Some of it was still in pretty good condition, so it was livable. Kyle and Jay ran back and grabbed all of their things and came back in excitement because the adrenaline hit them. "You mean that shelter we built was all for nothing?" said Jay.
