Jackie's Aptitude Test (Part 2)
Jackie______
I find myself in a narrow hallway packed with mirrors on every wall. Everywhere I look, all I see is my reflection.
And there are hundreds.
"Choose," I hear someone say.
Then I look in front of me. I see two bowls in front of me. The bowl on my right contains a small, yet sharp knife. The other bowl on my left contains a piece of cheese.
"Choose for what?" I ask.
"Choose," the voice says again.
If I don't know what to choose it for, then what am I supposed to choose?
I scowl and fold my arms, staying still on my spot.
"Have it your way," the voice then says, as the bowls disappear.
A door then opens, and a ferocious dog runs out at me.
Run!
The dog runs towards me, and I try to run away. But it's too fast for me. So I stop, turn round, and tackle it to the ground.
But I fall down into the ground as I grab the dog.
And the dog falls with me.
What.
The.
Hell?!

Now I'm in a small room, and I see a tall man reading a newspaper. The headline reads "BRUTAL MURDERER FINALLY APPREHENDED!"
Murderer?
"Do you know this guy?" the man says, without even peering up from his paper.
How does he know I'm here?
I look closely at the man on the cover. I don't ever think I've seen him.
"I don't know," I say. "I don't think I ever have."
"You're lying."
"What? No."
"You ARE lying!" Now he sounds desperate, and angry.
"No. I'm not," I say, calmly. "I never seen him."
"You could SAVE me! Just tell the truth!" he shouts.
"I AM telling the truth!"
But before he can answer back again, the image fades.
Why didn't he believe me?
