Lea-Anne's Aptitude Test
Lea-Anne______
Normally I'm very excited for events in my life. But this Test... I've never been so nervous in my life. What if the test tells me I can't be with my brother in Dauntless?
An Abnegation woman is inside, waiting for me in room 9. Crimson is in room 2.
"Hello," the woman says. "You are Lea-Anne, yes?"
"Yeah," I say.
"Please, take a seat. My name is Elizabeth."
"Can I call you Liz?" I ask.
"I prefer not to have a shortened name. It's self-extravagant in Abnegation."
Stiffs these days!
Liz (I can still call her Liz without actually saying it out loud, haha!) gives me this blue drink. Some sort of serum. Without question, I gulp the drink down.
She starts attaching wires to my forehead and to the chair before I close my eyes.
Must be to help her administer my test and get a result.
Whatever this test is, bring it on!

I'm in this long hallway of mirrors. My reflection is everywhere. So I take some time to look at myself.
And I'm looking brave as ever.
"Choose," a voice says.
I then look in front. There are 2 bowls. One with a knife, the other with cheese.
Cheese? Seriously?
I don't even need the voice to say it again. I walk towards the bowls and pick up the knife.
"You have chosen," the voice says. The bowls then disappear as a door opens.
They've just released a vicious dog!
I let the dog run towards me, the knife tight in my clutch. When it's close enough to me, I stab the dog in its body. It falls down to the floor and whimpers. But just to be sure... I stab the dog again.
Vicious pets deserve to be put down.
And THAT was certainly a vicious dog.

I'm now in a room with another man. He holds a newspaper. I can't see what the headline says though.
"Do you know this guy?" the man asks, pointing to the picture on the newspaper.
That man is gross.
I shake my head without hesitation. "Nope. Never seen him."
"You're lying," he says.
What the hell? I'm NOT lying!
"No I'm not," I say.
"Yes you are."
"No. I'm. Not!" I shout.
"You could save me if you know him! You could save me!" he shouts back.
"Well sorry, but I don't," I reply calmly.
And then the man fades.
What was that all about?
