My sorrows...

Fade away

In the darkness of my mind, I find solace
In the sharp edge of a blade
The pain that I inflict upon myself
A temporary release from the chaos within

Crimson droplets spill from my skin
A physical manifestation of the turmoil inside
Each cut a silent scream for help
An attempt to silence the demons that reside within

The scars that mark my body
A reminder of the battles fought and lost
A testament to the pain endured
And the strength required to carry on

I long for peace, for freedom from this endless cycle
But the darkness always seems to find its way back
And so I turn to the blade once more
A twisted comfort in a world of pain

But deep within me, a flicker of hope remains
A spark of light in the darkness
Whispering of  healing and redemption
A promise of a brighter tomorrow

So I hold on to that glimmer of hope
As I navigate the stormy seas of my mind
Knowing that one day, the sun will shine again
And the shadows will fade away.
