Hobo in my basement?

chapter 10

All H could do was stare at the food in front of him. He then gulped and picked up his fork. Looking up H was greeted by mitsuki's smile beckoning him to take his first but. H then looks down at the unrecognizable slime that was laying on his plate. 
"Come on H take a bite. I want to see ur reaction! I worked really hard to make this food." Mitsuki said with a big smile.
H sweat dropped seeing no way to avoid eating the gross green slime that might had just moved a moment ago. 
H then drew a big breath and scooped up a bit of "food". He quickly shoved it into his mouth waiting the his inevitable death. Suddenly a blissful flavor filled his mouth. H then proceeded in shoving all the remaining slime into his mouth. 
"This is so good" H tried to say with his mouth full. Mitsuki then laughed.
"I love to see the reactions of people that try my food for the first time". Mitsuki said with a smile. 
H then cleared his throat and out his fork down on his clear plate.
"Mitsuki, I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I know it must have been hard for you. Thank you" H said while looking at mitsuki with a serious face. Mitsuki then noticed his serious face and stopped smiling and looked at the glass cup between her hands. 
H then continued speaking and Mitsuki looked sad knowing what H was going to say next. 
"Thank you for the clothes and food and the company. I had a great time with you but I will be having to depart soon. I can't stay with you forever. I'm sorry. "
Silence filled the air for a few seconds. Mitsuki looked up with tearful eyes and smiled as big as she could. 
"Thank you H for the company. Please have a safe trip." Was all mitsuki could muster up to say. 
H then returned her smile and got up. He then reached for the trench coat that mistake had given him and put it on. Quietly he made his way to the door. H then looked over his shoulder to give mitsuki his last farewell. "till next time" H whispered. Then turned around and opened the door.
Mistuki in the meantime looked down at her glass not hearing H's last words. Tears blurred her vision. She then heard the door open and close. She sat there gripping her glass hard. Her knuckles white from all the pressure. She wanted to go and stop him. But what could she do? She knew this wasn't going to work. How was she supposed to explain everything to her family. And H had so many secrets too. a sharp sting in her hands ripped her out of her thoughts. She then lifted her bloody hands in front of her. a suddenly thought then appeared in her head as clear as day. "She wanted to be by his side forever". She didn't think of anything else. Not the consequences or the pain building in her hands. Mitsuki got up and ran to out the door into the bizarre outside. She pushed through the snow in only her pants and thin shirt. Mitsuki squinted her eyes barely able to caught the small figure of H in the distance. 
"H !" Mitsuki yelled. The name was easily destroyed by all the snow around her. She then started to run towards H.
"Wait " was all she kept yelling. "Please don't leave me"
She ran and ran but little by little H figure disappeared in the snow. 
Mitsuki tripped in the snow and landed on her knees. She then tried staying but felt another pain around her ankle. it seemed she had injured herself more. She slowly got up and kept pushing towards H direction yelling his name. She fell once more and got up. This happened a few times until mistake couldn't walk anymore.
Mitsuki then looked down and cried. "Please don't leave me" Mitsuki whispered slowly loosing the light in her eyes.
 At this moment Mitsuki looked around and noticed that H had lead her into the forest near her house. She then shivered and remembered about the cold. Her teeth clattered and it seemed as though her body couldn't stop shivering. Mitsuki then slowly turned around to see a small trail of blood behind her. It seemed her hands had made a blood path. With sadness in her eyes she started to slowly walk back home following the trail of blood. "Its all my fault. If i said anything sooner he wouldn't have left" Mitsuki thought. She then stopped and looked at the blood trail again. IT seemed the snow was covering it up and soon it would be gone. Mitsuki started to walk as fast as she could. "If the trail disappears i will be lost" Mistuki thought. eventually the path got covered up and mitsuki was stranded in the forest. She then sat and leaned on a tree that want completely covered in snow. 
I need to continue" Mitsuki thought. "If i die here i won't be able to see H again". Against her will her eyes slowly started to close and the cold surrounding her body didn't seems so bad anymore. Mitsuki then was swept in a deep sleep as her body was slowly covered with snow.
