Right Decision?
8 years have passed and Frost's condition has been getting worse and worse each passing day.Frost was leaned against her door, hugging her knees pressed onto her chest.
"No..." she said, as her cold breath lingered through the room, which was now frozen solid and cold.
She looked down at her amulet.
"You've never helped me once, my powers are out of control! Thanks a lot!" Frost barked frustrated, as she janked the amulet off her neck and threw it across the room.
Aster's ears perked up, hearing his daughter's outburst and went over to her.
He knocked on her bedroom door, even the outside was frozen.
"W-what?" Frost sobbed.
Aster walked in along with Winter.
"Oh my..." he gasped as he took a look around her room, seeing the frozen ice licking up the ceiling and every other part of the room.
"Where's your amulet?" Winter questioned, looking over her daughter, not seeing the amulet on her.
Frost pointed to the end of the room.
"Frost!" Aster shouted at her, "you can't take the amulet off! It'll make your unstable powers go haywire and send the kingdom into destruction!"
Frost screamed, covering her ears and continued to cry, as the room became even more frozen.
Frost couldn't take this anymore. She got up and bolted out of the room.
"Frost!" both her parents shouted as they went running after her.
"Don't let her get away!" Aster ordered a guard, but it was too late, Frost was already out the door into the harsh, artic wilderness.
She ran, not thinking about the past anytime soon.
She couldn't stay in a room locked away for the rest of her life.
What would she accomplish while doing that?
Absolutely nothing.
"I'm not risking to go back, I just can't..." Frost said as she kept running through the wilderness, hoping to become a new person in her life. But for now, she was on the run.
