Chapter 3 : The visitor of another dimension

"Do you think they're doing well?"
"Again,relax Jackie,there is nothing to worry about."
Sonic opened the door and...
"Hey guys, we're..."
They remained there, unable to understand what was happening.
Eggman was running after Redik,who was holding Uriah and Tris, imploring to let him hold the babies a bit.
"No Eggman!I already told that you can't hold'em!"
"Please, they are so cute...so little and unable to ruin my plans."
"NO!"
"...back..."Sonic was still standing, with the mouth wide open.
Suddenly Jackie shouted "What's happening here?!"
All stopped, Redik,still holding the babies, with a foot on Eggman's face, and Tails trying to move him away.
When all the thing calmed down, Eggman started to explain:
"I need your help, Shadow showed up at my base, shouting like a mad about someone I killed and destroying my robots.But I haven't done anything this time, I swear.If Chrono wasn't there..."
"Chrono? He's still with you?"Redik couldn't believe that his "brother" was still working for Eggman.
"Well...not exactly...He wanted some kind of cure for his eye..."
"Oh...yeah..."
Redik had a flashback of when he and Chrono fought, and Chrono's eye changed in a clock.
"If Shadow attacked you, there must be a reason,don't you think egghead?"
"Yeah ,Sonic, I normally have a reason to be attacked by you or your friends, but not this time!"
Sonic thougth for a little, and decided "Ok, we'll take a look."
Then he looked the childs " Jackie, I have to ask you..."
"To stay here with Tris and Uriah...I know. Be careful."
"I'll do.I love you Jackie."
"I love you too."
A quick kiss, and Sonic was already on his way.
Redik took Eggman, and ran after Sonic.
Tails was about to follow them but..."Tails, can you help me with the babies?"
"...Ok..."(Why does it have to happen to me?)

When they arrived at Eggman's base, they found Shadow,fighting with Chrono, with a lot of crushed robots around.
"SHADOW!WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"Yelled Sonic to attract Shadow's attention.
He saw them for an istant,but then he returned to fight with Chrono.
"Pssst.Redik, can you use your demon powers to stop them?"
"My what?"Asked Redik while letting down Eggman.
"Those demon powers you used to blow up my base."
"I don't have them anymore,and if I still have them, I don't want to use them."
Sonic and Redik then separated the fighters, holding'em until they calmed.

After all the necessary explanations (who are Redik and Chrono and why Shadow was there)...

"So, you are the Shadow of another dimension...where the bios never existed, where I'm not married and a lot of people we know doesn't exist...and the others are dead or transformed into robots..."
He took a look to Eggman.
"What?"
"Wherever you are you make disasters..."
"I was hoping you would help me, to destroy Eggman's empire...and restablish order..."
"Hey, I don't see why not.After all, destroying Eggman's plans is what we are best on,right Redik?"
"We'll need the help of the others then."
Suddenly a portal opened from the base, letting pass dozens of robots,who flew all over the sky, directed in all directions.
Shadow cursed "I thought that machine was only scrap now!"
A robot landed in front of the hedgehogs.And they prepared to fight.
