Toby's POV:

It's been six months since we got (y/n) to join us and me and she had really hit it off together. We go out to kill together as partners and we cuddle at night if we slept together. I really couldn't ask for anything better. But at night she wakes up screaming and crying saying," He's gonna kill me," or," Don't hurt them." Slenderman always comes down and comforts her and tells her she's safe but, for some reason, I know that she isn't.


"Hey, babe."

I turn and see (y/n) walking in the living room. I smile in reply and take a long look at her. I don't want to lose her. She's the best thing that I've had since my sister died. I love her.

"You okay?" she asks as she comes to sit down with me.
" Yeah j-just thinking about so-omething."
"You wanna tell me that something?" She giggles lightly

I cup my hands into her cheeks and kiss her softly on the forehead.

" You."
"Love you too."

She got up and stretched.

"Wh-here are y-you going so early this morning?" I asked.
"Training day for me with Masky."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I told you last night when you dozed off."
"Oh, I guess I do-on't remember when I doz-zed off," I said as I got up.
"We'll be home by six okay?"
"Yeah, be care-eful."
"Always."

I walked her to the doorway and wrapped my arms around her we gave her a kiss goodbye. It was deep and loving. I didn't want to let her go.

"Uhh, excuse me?"

We broke apart and it was  Masky.

"Sorry for interrupting but it's time we get going." He said awkwardly.
" I'll see you later." (y/n) said and left.



Reader's POV:

These past six months have been both really good and really bad. The good side is that I'm with Toby and with no regrets. The bad side is Zalgo. He's in my dreams and haunting me. I don't even know if it's paranoia but I can feel him watching me in the darkness. I'm scared for the rest of the CPs. They all feel like family to me. I'm really close with Clockwork, Jane, EJ, and Masky. The rest they're really like friends but I love them all the same way. I want to keep them safe so today Masky is going to help me with my ability since he has more experience with this topic which is a surprise.

Masky and I were walking in the woods trying to find a spot where I can start my training.

After six miles we stopped at what looked like a deserted campsite. I walked towards a stump to put down my things and sit down. I wasn't tired I was just a bit bored.

"Alrightie then, time to practice."
"Okay, Mister Orange Jacket, what are we doing?" I said in a kiddie voice.
"(Y/n), since your emotions conjure up your power which comes from your heartbeat I want you to remain calm and  focus on it."
"Sure," I said as I closed my eyes.
  
I breathed in and out and felt my heartbeat was calm. I felt like floating in the air and relaxing. It was a nice feeling.

"Okay, now I want you to take that energy and feel it flowing throughout your body."

I did as I was told and felt the cool sensation go through my neck, arms, legs and everything else. With my eyes still closed I look down and open my eyes. I was floating. I remained calm because I knew if I didn't I would accidentally hurt Masky. So, to not hurt him I looked up as I floated higher and breathed I looked down and went down. This was so amazing.

"Good you got some control on it," he said.

I smiled at him. He really knew his stuff.

"Now, telepathically I want you to move that branch next to me towards you."
"What?"
"Move it."

I hesitated for a moment but obeyed.  I stretched out one arm and began to move it. It shook a bit but I didn't stop. I tried again until it lazily went towards me. Once it was in front of me Masky began clapping.

"Amazing now move me towards you."
"Okay, I'll umm, try."

I stretched out the same arm put he only moved an inch. He was heavy so, used both my arms and he slowly slid towards me. He was taking long so I focused on him more but I made him go to fast that he crashed into me. We both fell with him on top of me.

"Maybe that was a little too fast (y/n)."
"Yeah, I can see and feel that."

We both laughed and got up.

"I mean if you wanted to get a better look at me all you could've done was ask," he said.

I looked at him and we were way to close to each other. I felt his body heat and how he was nervous. I felt that he wanted to do something so I took a breath and stepped back.

"Alright so, what else?"

He turned around breathing in the air and looked at me.

"Umm, using it on the battleground."

I nodded.

"Okay, so what you want to do is to put on a defensive mode on yourself and let it go through yourself like the last emotion," as he said this he put out a target board.

I stood and felt the energy in my hands' form. I aimed them at the target and released it. It was a perfect shot.

"Good, nice job. "

For the last hours while we were there I shot down more and more targets getting perfect shots. After we were done we went back to the mansion. During the walk, I felt a bit uncomfortable because of the accident earlier. So, it was an awkward silence between us.

"I'm sorry," he said halfway close to home.
"About what?" I said, played dumb.
"Saying that."
"It's okay."
"No, it isn't you're with Toby and I need to respect that."

I stopped and he stopped too.

"Listen our relationship could be a sibling bond," I suggested this because it was true. I loved him like a brother because he was also understanding and helpful.

"Sibling bond?"
"Yeah, like brother and sister."

We stood there in the darkness. I wanted him to be my "brother" because he fills all the expectations for it.

"Okay, I will."

We both smiled and hugged each other. Once we released he began to walk again.

"Race ya!" he yelled getting a head start.
"Hey, no fair!"

It was a fun day and well, I knew whatever would happen I would always be there for them. Always.
