Improvised version of Naruto!

Ch. 4

    Yui was eating a sandwich. Later today is her first day at the academy! Kakashi was in bed still sleeping. It's 8 AM and Yui is excited. She makes herself a lunch. Kakashi walks downstairs seeing Yui. She made him breakfast. Yui is now 5. Here's a secret. Yui has been taking care of an injured tiger cub. So, Kakashi doesn't know about it. Looking at the time Kakashi eats his food. Yui runs upstairs to get ready. She puts on her favorite shirt with the ninja symbol. She put on shorts that hang to her knees. Her hair is put in a side ponytail, her hair just touching her shoulders.
    "Yui! Let's go!" Kakashi yells from downstairs.
    Yui runs to the front door, grabbing her bag. She and Kakashi walk to the academy. Getting there, they didn't see people on the grounds. They walk to Yui's new class. Opening the door Yui sets her eyes on her new sensei. Iruka turns his head to see Kakashi and Yui.
    "Sorry Yui's late. We took the long way." Kakashi lies.
    'Liar' Yui writes.
    "So your Yui Hatake. You'll sit next to Naruto. The one with Blonde spikey hair." Iruka directs.
    Kaito can't believe his eyes. You shouldn't be able to enter until your six! He stood up, clearly annoyed. How is his sister here before him!?
    "Yui, what're you doing here!? You're only five! How can you be here?" He exclaimed, obviously jealous of his younger sister.
    She shrugs. How should she know? She went to her seat next to the boy with blonde spikes. She trips over her own feet. The other kids laughed at her situation. Yui flushed, tears welling up in her eyes. Sasuke got angry that people laughed at his friend.
    "Leave Yui-chan alone!" He yells at his classmates.
    The class became silent. Kiba thought, how can such a klutz become a ninja!? Yui stood up. Her demon glare fixated on Kiba. He freak out. Scary was all he thought seeing her face. She sat down, her head hanging. Her heart sank. She hates it when people laugh at her clumsiness.
*in the hallway*
    "Iruka, Yui isn't capable of weapons. She freaks out from the mere sight of it. Do you think you or another teacher can teach her healing?" Kakashi explains.
    "Hmm... I'll get her private lessons with someone. I should continue class. Later." Iruka says.
    "One other thing... Yui refuses to speak. Its not often if she does."
    "Understood, Kakashi."
    With that Kakashi walks away. Iruka enters the classroom and sees Yui glaring at no one. Her eyes stare at the desk in front of her. Iruka ignored it, She probably didn't feel well. Yui's eyes soften as attention leaved her and turned to the lesson.
*Timeskip because logic*
    Yui sat under a tree watching the other kids. Neither Kaito nor Sasuke bothered her. They know she's in a bad mood. Someone sits next to her. Turning her head, she saw a sleepy looking boy. His eyes are closed. Curiosity gets the best of her, she pokes his cheek. His eyes slowly open.
    "What a drag. If you're wondering why I am here, it's because you seem interesting. You don't talk, which I enjoy." He says.
    'I don't like talking. I know bad things happen if I do...' she writes.
    "The names Shikamaru. How bout you?"
    'Im Yui. Did you not hear sensei say my name?'
    "I was probably sleeping."
    Yui laughed nervously. Shikamaru fell asleep again. He fell on her shoulder. Yui didn't bother him. She let him, she doesn't mind it. When break is over she shakes him awake. Shikamaru looks irritated. The two walk to class side by side. Before entering the classroom, Shikamaru speaks up.
    "This a pain in the butt. Also, Yui, you're not half bad. I guess we can hang out..." he says.
    A small smile is exposed to Shikamaru. He exchanges the same thing. It was time for Physical Education. For it they played games. Asuma grinned when he saw Kaito getting along with the other children. Yui stood alone. People think she's a freak. Shikamaru was with Choji. Kaito is with Sasuke and a few other boys. Yui saw a girl standing alone as well. She walks up to her and tapped her shoulder. The girl flinched.
    "Ah, Hatake-san. W-whats up?" She asked.
    'Wanna play with me' she wrote smiling at the girl.
    "S-sure."
    'What's your name?'
    "My n-name is Hinata Hyuuga."
    Yui grabs the girls hand with a smile. Yui already enjoys her company. Hinata's face slowly grew a smile. Soon the two girls were giggling and playing. Yui saw some flowers. She started making a flower crown. Hinata watched Yui's handwork. After finishing, Yui put the crown on Hinata's head. The two continued playing.
*Timeskip because I'm a lazy piece of poop*
    Yui's hair was grabbed by a boy. Tears formed in her eyes.
    "What's wrong, mute girl? Cat got your tongue?" Kiba said.
    They were behind the school building. Shikamaru was wondering where his silent friend was. He started looking around. He heard Kiba taunting someone, and hiccups. He walk towards it. He saw Yui's tears. He walked towards them.
    "St.... op...." Yui whimpers.
    "What was that mute girl?" Kiba teased.
    "Stop..."
    "Hey, Kiba. Leave her alone. What'd she ever do to you?" Shikamaru states.
    "Stay outta this Nara!"
    Yui sucker punches Kiba in the stomach. Shock registered in Kiba's head. Dang, she's strong. He releases her clutching his stomach. Kiba stares at the girl with wide eyes. He then smirks.
    "Ha! You really are a freak!" He yells at her.
    "Kiba, leave the poor girl alone! Or else." Kaito says suddenly appearing before the three.
    Kaito looked at Yui's face. Tears streaming down her cheeks. Kaito bursts with anger. He grabs Kiba's shirt. Shikamaru ran to get a teacher.
    "Apologize to Yui!" Kaito yells.
    "Why're you protecting the freak?" Kiba argues.
    "TAKE THAT BACK! NO ONE MAKES FUN OF MY SISTER!"
    "Kaito!" A voice shouts.
    Kaito turns to face Asuma. He let go of Kiba's shirt. Asuma walks up to the three children. He looked at Kiba and Kaito.
    "You two have detention. Yui, let's get you fixed up." Asuma says.
    "I was defending Yui! That's not fair!" Kaito exclaims with rising rage.
    "Kaito... you don't beat up other children, do you understand mister?"
    "But, Asu-"
    "Kaito! Not only are you in detention, you're also grounded!"
    Kaito stared at his feet. His eyes started to water. Yui went to hug him, but was pushed to the ground. Shock is on every inch of her face. Then words never hurt more than that moment.
    "I HATE YOU! I WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN, YUI! EVERYTHINGS YOUR FAULT! JUST DIE!" He screams at the top of his lungs.
    "Kaito Sarutobi! Don't you yell at her for your own mistake!" Asuma yells at him.
   Kaito ran from them. Yui's eyes and face is lifeless.

~Asuma's POV~
    It's the afternoon. Im home. Kaito took off, he didn't come to class. Cr*p, he's such a handful. Sure he's emotional, but yelling at his sister is uncalled for. I realize it's raining. Well, better go find him... I walk through the wooded area. I hear sobbing. I look up to see the kid. I sit next to him in the tree. I reach my hand to his head. He slaps it away.
    "Look, kid, I don't wanna ground you or give you detention. And what you told Yui, was terrible. You should know better." I tell him.
    "..."
    "Let's go home, Kaito. You're sopping wet. You can dry off there."
    "No..."
    "Kaito, you'll get sick."
    "I hope I do! Then I won't see the reason our mama's dead..."
    "Kaito!"
    "I hate you. Go away."
     The words hit me like kunai stabbing me. I pick up the kid and go home. I give him a towel. It was silent for the rest of the night.

~Kakashi's POV~
    Yui hasn't been very focused since she returned home. And she left a bit ago with an umbrella. Better go get her... I hear giggling and roaring. Theroaring scared me, thus I run as fast as I can to Yui. I see her with a tiger cub. I notice the bandages on the cub's arm. So this is what she does, huh? I tap her shoulder. She turns her head, tears streaming down her cheeks.
    "Yui..." I say shocked.
    "Ka-chan." She says with a hitch.
    She only calls me that when sad. I pick her and the tiger up and take them home. She goes to bed, the tiger curled up next to her. Asuma told me what happened  earlier. I think I'll talk to Kiba's parents.
