Chapter 19 - Miss Froggerty
Skittle was on her way to her first ever lesson at her new school. She checked her timetable. She had French. Skittle didn't like French back in her old school, but she figured it would be better here. She saw a classroom up ahead. The rest of her form were running inside. Skittle checked the sign on the door.
"Miss Foggerty's French Class." Skittle read aloud, then she followed everyone else into the room.
Everyone was standing around in the classroom when a lady walked into the room. She was pale, with long, greasy brown hair and bulging eyes that seemed ready to pop right out of her head. She walked to the front and looked at the children.
"Good morning, class. My name is Miss Foggerty." the lady announced.
"Your name's Miss Froggerty?" a boy asked. A few people around him laughed.
"No, my name is Miss Foggerty. Don't be so stupid." Miss Foggerty snapped.
"She should be called Miss Froggerty. She looks like a frog." whispered the boy's friend, snorting.
"Detention!" yelled Miss Foggerty, pointing a bony finger at him.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because you dared to speak like that about a member of staff behind their back!" Miss Foggerty shouted, still pointing at him.
The boy shrugged, not really bothered. Everyone hated Miss Foggerty by this point.
"Right, well, I had better find you all a place to sit." Miss Foggerty said, and she sorted out seats for everyone.
Skittle ended up sitting at the back. This was fine with her, as she could just daydream where the teacher couldn't see her. She sighed and put her head on her desk. She definitely hated French.

But I don't think you've seen the wall post about what happened on the trip. It was absolutely horrible. The teacher brought 20 other people on the trip who hadn't done anything at all. On the way there in the coach, I was forced to sit in a spare seat in a cramped area next to the door, and everyone else got proper seats, even though I was the See More only reason they were on the trip. I kept having panic attacks on the coach because I got really claustrophobic. And when we got there, the whole thing was just listening to authors talk about their books for three hours. It was so boring, and at the end of it, the teacher didn't even let us meet any authors. When someone asked the teacher if we were going to meet them, the teacher told them not to be stupid, even though it specifically said on the letter we were given that we got to meet all of the authors. And we got back to school just after lunch, when the teacher had said that the trip lasted all day.
I was so angry. . . :/
