City of Suits (not completed) By Reid H and Mira H

The entire world has been split into four quadrants. That might seem unbelievable because what you, the reader, knows the population of the world is around 7.8 billion people. Well now the population is around 10,000. In the year 3155 a plague hit known as the Crimson Breath. This deadly plague was known as the Crimson Breath because it would infect you from the inside out and almost seem as if your breath was a crimson color, and it was. This was so deadly that if there was someone, even within ten feet of you, they would get the plague too.

Chapter 5: Leo

“Georgia!” I screamed “NOOO”

After a little bit of unsuccessful hunting, I decided to walk back to our camp, where Georgia is probably done packing up our set up. As I was walking back, I heard some ruffling coming from the bushes ahead. I trekked toward our camp faster, actually worried that something was following Georgia.
“Leo!” I heard Georgia scream.
I was afraid she was in real trouble, so I ran as fast as I could towards her. It was a very thick forest, so it took me a little bit to get there. When I finally broke through into the clearing, I saw a man attack her with the pommel of a broadsword. I screamed her name, hoping she wouldn't be unconscious.
After that, I don't know what took over me. My vision turned red, then I took out my daggers and started attacking the man that hurt her. Now, you might think that fighting a man with a broadsword with only 2 daggers is just plain stupid, and it is. But, I had the upper hand because the man was very uncoordinated with it, and I was way swifter with my light weapons.
The man tried a feinting uppercut thrust, but I saw it coming and flicked his sword to the right of me with only one dagger. Then, I attacked him. I worked for about 10 minutes on the person, but then finally I had his sword in an upper hand lock. I quickly yanked his blade out from his slippery grip and held up one dagger to his throat.
I gagged him up and cut his legs a lot so he wouldn't be able to follow us. Then, I ran to Georgia’s side. I looked at her head. It seemed bad but not fatal. I quickly loaded up our stuff and started carrying her away from the man's sight. Even with the medicine I had and all the herbs, I gathered from around, nothing could help her at the moment.
I decided it would be best if I kept moving, even though I would have to carry Georgia. I shouldered all her packs, along with my bow, and picked her up baby-style. I walked for a long while with her in my arms until I saw something that caught my eye. It was a Milkweed flower. I decided to take a break and set Georgia down lightly against a tree.
I picked a few petals of the plant I found. I mashed them up in my palm until it made a unique paste, which I applied to Georgia’s head. I knew it would take a little bit to kick in, but I was pretty sure that it would wake her up in a little bit.
I took a little bit myself to get some water, and eat some berries I had found. I sat down next to Georgia and gathered my thoughts. It had been a crazy two days, but I knew that it would just get crazier.
I thought the best choice would be to keep going until the sun set a little bit more, and then I would hopefully find a good place to sleep for the night. I stood up, then grabbed Georgia and put her back in the same position I had her in before.
I started walking slowly, making sure I had at least one protective arm around her side. I picked up the pace when I realized that there really wasn’t much to worry about. Yet, I was still tense for some reason.
As I kept walking, the terrain changed a lot, from a thick forest to a grassy plain. Right as I was about to pass the first tree I’d seen for about two miles, Georgia started waking up. After about thirty seconds of her just stirring where she was, she opened her startled eyes.
“Whe-where am I?” Georgia said unsurely.
Before I got to say anything, Georgia started glaring at me with fierce eyes, talking again.
“Leo! HOW-DARE-YOU-SCARE-ME-LIKE-THAT-AGAIN!” she said, hitting my chest in between each word. I was still holding her, for some reason. She, all of a sudden hugged me, almost tipping me over. Then, I did tip over.
Then, I had a weird feeling that we shouldn't be standing here. It took me a little bit to figure out that it was my power. Then, my hearing sharpened a lot, and I heard footsteps. I said one word. “Run.”
