The Drive Home

Amandla giggled as Kofi rubbed her thigh. She felt chills all down her spine. He leans towards her for a kiss, so tender and soft. She came back at him with an even more enticing one. He wanted her badly, and she knew. So she let him take her. She knew it was wrong, but it felt right. “Are you tired?” Kofi asks.

“Yeah,” Amandla sighs. She twists her curly reddish brown hair, and unravels it.

“Do you want to stay at my house or do you wanna go home?”

“I’d rather go home Kof. You know what Winnie would do.”

“Yeah, I guess I’m being selfish.” He mutters.

“Huh?”

“Nothing.” He holds her soft, tan brown hand and caresses it.

“Are you sure?” She says moving her hand away.

“Mmhm..” He says while looking at the road.

“You don’t have to ignore me.”

“I’m not.” He mumbles.

“Okay, okay. I’ll stay over tomorrow, as long as you come back to school.”

“Deal.”

“And you better come boy, I ain’t playin.”

“We’re here.” He says while parking.

Amandla hopes out the car and waves goodbye. She slowly opens the front door and gives him a wish me luck gesture. He waves back and drives away.
