"This place is huge!" Jess suddenly said out loud with excitement as she, Josh and Matt got out of the car they had been picked up in.
"Indeed it is, in fact we are the biggest private army in the world and we did it in six months" Mr Wilson said with pride as he got out the car and walked to the others.
"Very impressive" Josh said as he was helped into his wheel chair by Matt "Thanks Matt" He said as he started to move forward.
"Indeed it is just need's more people to work for it then we should be there" Mr Wilson said as he walked ahead of them all "But I'm sure you want to get this over with a soon a possible so you can get back out there"
Josh looked at him "Yes, yes I do but" he paused for a second "But what are going to do?"
"Well basically their going to remove the legs you have right now, then they will outfit you with a very, very intelligent pair of new mechanical legs which should; if it goes right, give you full control of them like they were normal legs" He slowly explained to Josh while walking inside "And this is were it all happens"
Josh, Jess and Matt all looked around to see all sorts, they saw drones flying and driving around. They saw troops walking around too. If was a place filled with tech that none of them had seen before.
"Right lets get you guys signed in" Mr Wilson said as he walked to the main desk, he looked at the lady at the desk "Evening, i just need to get this lot signed in"
"OK I'll just need date of birth and names of each one" The lady said to him.
"OK so we have Josh Smith, Jess Smith and Matt-" He stopped "Um Matt what is your last name?" he said as he turned to Matt
Matt replied "Tennon" The lady then started to put their names in a large book.
"OK so Josh date of birth?" She asked him
"The 11th of June 2999" He answered.
She wrote it down "OK and Jess What's yours?"
"It's the 13th of march 2989" She told the lady putting her hand on Josh's shoulder.
"OK and Matt's" She then said after writing Jess's in the book.
"Mines the 27th of January 2989" Matt said being the finally one. The lady wrote his in the book.
"OK I'll send off the data to security but other than that you may go" She said with a smile.
Finally they all walked off and slowly made there way to what seemed to be a engineering room with lots of drones and weapons all over the place. They made there way through and were finally were they needed to be.
"And this is it, this is were your second chance starts" Mr Wilson said as they arrived there "Go in when your ready Josh but Matt and Jess you will have to come with me"
They all split off Jess and Matt went with Mr Wilson and Josh went in to the operation room.
"Ah evening you must be Josh" Said one of the surgeons there was four altogether "Well take a seat on the bed and lay back then I'll explain whats going to happen"
Josh slowly laid back on the bed and nodded his head. The surgeon walked up to his with a needle in his hand.
"OK so what we are going to do is very complicated and there is still time for you to back out" He said slowly looking at Josh "So what we are going to do is, remove your legs from your body that's fairly simple, but after that we are going to have to work on your spine and brain to make it so the legs can be used like normal ones"
Josh nodded his head saying "Just do what you can please"
The surgeon nodded and injected Josh with the needle. Josh was slowly drifting off. But before long he was out cold.
Jess and Matt waited for hours on top of hours for Josh to come out. Jess was pacing the room looking at the floor. Matt was waiting by the door looking forward.
"Arr they should be done by now surly" Jess said with aggravation.
"Hey Jess calm down it's going to be fine alright" Matt tried to calm her down by saying this.
Jess nodded at him but kept walking around. But suddenly....
"Miss Jess" One of the surgeons walked in and spoke to her "I have good news, Josh is fine"
Jess let off a massive sigh of relief "Thank god, were is he now?" Jess asked.
The surgeon replied "He's still in there we are just running test so we can see if his legs work, you may come and see if you want"
Jess and nodded and she and Matt followed the surgeon to were Josh was. Josh was on a slow moving treadmill, walking on it with his new mechanical legs. He turned and saw Matt and Jess standing there.
"Hey Josh" They both said with smiles.
The treadmill stopped and Josh ran over to them.
He gave them both a hug each then turned to Mr Wilson "T-thank you so much!" He said to him.
Mr Wilson looked at his and smiled "When it was the least i could do, now go home try to get used to the legs and then come back in three days and we will start making you troop shall we?" Mr Wilson asked him.
"Y-yes I will, I never go back on my word" Josh told him as the three of them walked out and made there way to the main entrance.
Mr Wilson stood by the main door as someone walked behind him and asked "Why did you pick him anyway"
"I picked him because I know that he will push himself to be what he wants to become" Mr Wilson replied.
Josh, Jess and Matt got back in the car they arrived in. The car slowly drove away with a brand new person in it. Who may even change the world.
