The new soldier

Josh was sat there with Craig looking at him all the time. "What?" Josh asked him.
"Nothing" Craig replied coldly. "It's just I don't trust you"
"Get in line mate, I've heard that before" Josh looked at him with a smile.
"I don't think you have someone like me on the list then do you?" He tried to use this to get Josh to back down.
"Hmm no" Josh looked up and gave it some thought. "No no one like you, mainly people who are smarter and look the part" He looked back down at him. Jackie couldn't help but chuckle and try to hide it.
Craig stood up "What you think you better than me?" he walked forward.
Josh stood up and walked to him "Yeah I do" he told him getting right up to him. They stood there for a second staring at each other.
Craig spoke up "So you think with one arm your better than me? Please" he said with confidence.
Josh looked at his shoulder and back to him "Either way" he stepped back a bit.
Craig was getting angry now "Then lets go right now" he challenged him. "Think your all that"
Josh turned and looked at him "Well I would but I'm sure your girlfriend wouldn't like it if I screwed up your face, I'm sure" Josh said with a smile again.
"Alright pack it in" Jackie finally butted in. "We are here now so lets not kill each other and just go inside" Josh nodded at her as the VTOL door opened. They all started to walk out. There was large building in front of them.
"This looks a lot like the private armies building" Josh said as they all walked in.
"That's 'cause it was one of the earlier designs for it" Jackie told him leading them to a operation center. They all walked into it slowly and there was a huge room filled with computers and a large screen at the front of the room. Josh was impressed even with no funding they kept this place in shape.
Jackie turned and pushed Josh back slightly "Before I go any farther with you I have to be sure I can trust you. Can I?" she looked at him.
"Jackie I have no were to go if you couldn't so yeah you can" He looked at her and they all began to walk again. They made their way down some stairs. But before anything could happen. The alarms went off! "Dam it there here again!" Craig turned and started to move.
Josh turned and followed him before Jackie could tell him not to "Craig! I can help what can I do?"
Craig looked at him and paused he knew they needed help. "You think you could just get down there and buy some time? All the time you can get will be fine"
"Alright see you down there then" Josh took out his sword and ran to the window. He smashed the window and jumped out. He dived downwards. There was a VTOL right below him. He landed on it making it go down a bit. He stabbed his sword into it and ran along it. He reached the end and jumped off landing on another. He ran to the end and grabbed the edge of it. He jumped in the back and slashed a guy as he got in. One guy rushed him but Josh moved and tripped him. The guy fell out. Josh ran forward and pushed past two guys. He went into the cockpit. He stabbed one of the pilots and slashed the other quickly. He then jumped out the windshield. He fell and landed on the floor. He realized he was right behind Jackie. She turned and saw him. Josh put his sword away and took his pistol out. They got back to back and started to shoot all over. They kept changing sides shooting over and around each other. Josh ran out of ammo and dropped his pistol taking his sword out again. They kept fighting but if any rushed them Josh slashed them across the chest. But Josh saw something he was hoping he would not see.
"We got a tank Jackie!" He yelled over the sound of gun fire. "Can you cover me?!"
Jackie just looked at him and nodded "Don't do anything stupid!" she told him.
"Ha bit late" He bolted off and ran straight at the tank. He ran along a wall for a second dodging a blast from the tank. He jumped and landed on the tank. He put his sword back on his back. He took a grenade from his side. The hatch opened and a guy came out. Josh ran at the hatch and grabbed the guy by the chest. He picked him up and threw him away. He cooked his grenade and threw it in. The grenade didn't give Josh time and went off nearly right away just as Josh jumped off the tank. It sent him flying and into a wall. He got up after Craig got over there and took the rubble of him. They just nodded at each other and Josh went running again. He ran to some guys and a girl who were pinned by wall. He ran over and took his sword in hand again. He jumped and slammed his sword into one of the enemy's heads. One went to hit him with their gun. Josh moved and headbutted the guy, he then sent his sword through the guys chest. He jumped back and looked around. The enemy's were falling back.
Craig and Jackie walked up to Josh and Craig said "You Josh are just insanely crazy but you have my trust"
Josh nodded "Craig you have mine too" he looked at them both.
"Josh thank you, they are most likely not going to come back for a while knowing your here" Jackie said with a smile. Josh smiled back.
"Josh I swear, you made that look like you do stuff like that on a daily bases but then there's the fact you have one arm" Craig then said to him.
"Please don't remind me god, so we best get back inside and do whatever it was we were going to do" Josh said turning to walk away, the others followed. He didn't mind about his arm but it still some what got to him.
