"WAKE UP!" I woke up with Nikki yelling in my face. "I didn't catch the tooth fairy." She said crossing her arms. "Aw, I'm sorry." I said. "It's ok. She left me a golden coin." She said holding up a coin. I snatched her coin and tore off the wrapper. "She left you chocolate silly." I said holding up the chocolate coin. I looked over and saw Knuckles passed out. "Some bodyguard." Nikki said rolling her eyes. "Don't be so rude." I said smacking her on the head. She rubbed her head and ate the chocolate. Nikki gave me an evil grin then looked at Knuckles. "Oh no, what are you going to-"

"HELP!" Nikki screamed. She smashed my foot and ran behind a tree. I grabbed my foot as Knuckles jumped up. "Ezra! Are you ok?" Knuckles asked running over to me. "Yeah, I'm fine." I answered. Nikki jumped out of her hiding spot and laughed. "Good mourning Knux." She said laughing. Knuckles glared at her. "You little weasel!" He snapped. "I'm not a weasel I'm a fox. Nack is a weasel." She said sticking her tongue out. (If you don't know who Nack is. Google him) Knuckles sighed and helped me up. "I got to go. Shadow should be here soon." He said. "Ok. Thanks for your help Knuckles." I said. Knuckles blushed and walked off. "Man, you are good with the guys." Nikki said elbowing me. I rolled my eyes at her. "So... what's for breakfast?" Nikki asked. I shrugged. "I don't know." I answered. Nikki glared at me. "We're going to starve to death out here." She complained. She looked around and ran off. "I'll be back with breakfast!" She yelled leaving me alone. I sighed and went for a little stroll. "Well, well. You do know it's bad for a girl like you to be out here all alone." Scourge said jumping down from a tree. "Leave me alone!" I snapped at him. He shook his head. "I'm afraid I don't want to." He said walking closer to me. I went for a punch, but he dodged it. He grabbed my arm. "You think you be beat me?" He asked. Shadow appeared out of nowhere. "Yes. I do believe I can beat you." He said. He punched Scourge and grabbed my wrist. "Hang on." He said. He ran off in the opposite direction. He dragged me into the dark and spooky part of the woods and leaned me against a tree. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Yes. I'm fine." I said. Shadow is pretty nice... once you get to know him. Me and Shadow just stood there not saying a word. "So... you hungry?" Shadow asked. "Ye-"

"YES!" Nikki said jumping out of a tree. Shadow glared at her. "Fine. You, there's a pub in the middle of this woods. Ask the waiter Sibera if he likes waffles then come back here." Shadow demanded. "Wha-"

"NOW!" Shadow snapped. Nikki raced off to find the pub leaving me and Shadow.
