Chapter 5~Luna

Luna gapes. She hardly keeps her eyes open and try to listen to the best she can at Melody and Jackie’s conversation. They speak of the dream they have done that night... Like all the girls.

Jackie: Seriously... I understand nothing...
Melody: I think I'm starting to understand.
Jackie: Really?
Melody: Nope.
Jackie: T_T

Luna look at them and struck her head against the table. She is tired and would like to return to bed, but after what Celina recounted, she likes better wait that girls go there also.

Melody: You okay Lulu?

Luna is still with her head on the table and throws her thumb in the air to signify that she is still alive.

Jackie: You look tired.
Luna: I'm super...
Jackie: ...  
Melody: You should go to bed.
Luna: Not after what Celina said.
Melody: You're afraid?
Luna: Yes.
Jackie: Not me...
Luna: You are completely awake!
Jackie: Yes, and?
Luna: It is 3 o'clock in the morning!
Jackie: I know.

Jackie smiles, Luna growls. She delivers her head between her two arms and looks the table. «I would LOVE to be in my bed...». She closes her eyes and falls almost asleep, until she feels a hand behind her back.

Jackie: We'll sleep, you should come.
Luna: Finally!

Luna follows the girls and headed towards her mattress. She goes comfortably in her covered and sighs. «I'll finally be able to sleep without fear... If I die of fear, I'm dying of fear with them! At least...» Luna notes that light is not yet extinct. She opens her eyes and looks around her. Milea looks at the ceiling desperately.

Luna: Are you okay?
Milea: Yeah...
Luna: Okay...

Luna rises and fixes Mahyka for long seconds.

Mahyka: What?

Luna watches the light, then Mahyka. She rises and turns off the light.

Mahyka: You could turn it off...
Luna: This is your House.
Mahyka: T_T

Luna goes in her bed and closes her eyes. She takes her no time before she falls asleep.

When Luna awakes, she is still in the black, as in her final dream. But this time, the decor doesn’t change, she doesn’t die after losing a battle that was made so that she won, she remains in the dark. She doesn’t feel tired, she’s awake. Luna begins to walk. Why? She knows that it is useless, but she walks like.

Luna: It's not even scary... It’s just weird...

She walks a few minutes before hearing voices. In fact, it means that one voice. But she recognized that voice.

Luna: Swift?

Luna begins to walk a little faster, and when the voice of Swift is getting closer, she starts to run.

Luna: Swift? SWIFT?

Swift’s voice continues to speak, and Luna continues to run. Luna understand no word of what she says, but she’s sure to hear Swift.

Luna: Swift?

The voice stops. After a few seconds, Luna continues to hear it, but more closely.

Swift: Luna?

Luna turns and see Swift.

Luna: Swift... Is that you?
Swift: Yes...
Luna: You're sure?
Swift: Yes I am sure! Who you take me for? Santa Claus?
Luna: No! I just don’t trust my dream…
Swift: Your dream? But we’re in mine!
Luna: What? This is my dream!
Celina: Maybe it's your yours... Or our dream...

Luna turns her head and sees Celina, accompanied by Sage.

Swift: What are you doing here?
Sage: We dream. Like you.
Luna: So… This is a collective dream?
Mahyka: If you call that a dream!

Mahyka appears, followed by Melody. Mahyka seems dead from fear, compared to Melody, who looks determined, and playful to the idea of being in the same dream as her friends.

Melody: For you it’s a nightmare Mahyka, for me, it's a dream!
Jackie: In any case, it makes me shiver...

Jackie and Milea arrive. «It looks like a meeting where everyone is late»

Milea: Sapphire and Sky are with us.
Sky + Sapphire: Hello!
Luna: Wait a second... How can we be ALL here?
Sage: This, we'll have to figure it out...

Girls continue to speak, and Luna becomes bored. «It really looks like a meeting». Luna distanced more and begins to walk anywhere.

Melody: Hey! What are you doing?
Luna: I get bored!

Melody go closer to her.

Melody: This place can be infinite... It Looks like a sort of black hole! You can lose you no matter how!
Luna: I'll just stay here. I'm not going very far.
Melody: But anyway...
Luna: *sighs* Stay with me then.

Melody looks at the girls and hesitate a little before adding:

Melody: Okay...

2 girls continue to walk without saying a word. Luna goes where she believes that they need to go (either to the left or to the right.) and Melody follows her silently. After a few minutes, Luna sighs and turns abruptly to Melody.

Luna: We go back.
Melody: what? Didn’t you notice that we’re completely lost?

Before that Luna is able to get out only one word, she feels a breath upon her shoulder. As if someone blow on it.

Luna: Brrr...
Melody: What?
Luna: Nothing... I just felt... A kind of breath on my shoulder...
Melody: O.O you're weird Lulu.
Luna: Hey!
Melody: I leave. We must find the girls.

Melody begins to walk towards the opposite direction. Luna tries to do the same, but she can’t. Her feet don’t want to move.

Luna: Melody!

Too late... She’s gone. Luna tries to free her feet, but she can’t feel them.

Luna: Shĩt! MELODY!

She feels a hand take her arm, then the other. She feels a presence behind her, but she cannot see it. When she finally managed to move her feet, she turns to see who’s taking her. She sees it. Him. A blue hedgehog, as she known. But he is different. His black and red eyes bleed, and he smiles constantly. Luna feels panic rise in her.

Luna: S-Sonic?
Sonic (?): I am God.

***(Always in the collective dream)***

Milea: Luna?

Luna opens her eyes with surprise. She’s alive.

Luna: Huh?
Milea: You were sleeping stand... How can we do to fall asleep in a dream?
Mahyka: I don’t know...

Luna understand nothing. She stares Melody.

Luna: Why you let me alone?
Melody: What are you talking about?
Luna: What? We were lost and you left without saying a word! I almost died!
Melody: Are you crazy? I didn’t move from here, you either.
Luna: But...
Melody: I think it was in your dream.

Melody rubs Luna’s hair and joins Swift.

Luna: But I didn't dream! I saw Sonic!
Sapphire: You saw Sonic? Then the guys are here too?
Sky: Surely.
Swift: I say we go search them...
Sage: Yeah.

The girls start to walk while talking. Only Luna doesn’t move.

Luna: wait! This isn't the same Sonic you know...

Milea stops and turns back to Luna. Her eyes are full of fear.

Milea: Does his eyes were bleeding?

Luna nods.
