Chapter X -- Thor

As the girl gets more and more upset, yelling louder and louder, her eyes start to blacken. I can't stop it.
It's a terrible, terrible thing to watch.
And then, finally, the blackness covers her eyes completely. A heartrending shriek echoes before she goes completely silent.
She stands slowly, smirking.
"Thank you," she says, her voice much older and rusty-sounding. Almost like an icy claw, it seems to scratch at anything nearby and gives me chills. "You have effectively brought me back to dominance with very little effort on my part. I should egg her into talking to you more often."
She yawns, revealing completely black teeth. I shudder again.
"What do you want?" I demand, my fear spinning into agitation.
"What do I want?" she asks. She laughs lightly, then shakes her head. "Nothing, really. Just a body to live in forever."
