The Cat Meow

back again

        I ran back into the house, feeling hungry and miserable. I checked my bowl and found that it was still empty. My owner still wasn't home yet. I wanted to cry, I wanted to yell, I wanted to scream, but I didn't do any of those. Instead, I curled up in a white sheet that immediately got stained by my blood. I closed my eyes and slept, wishing for dreams better than the events of today.
