"Listen," Jeremy said to us as we all sat around the large glass table. "You can have all these luxuries and more if you listen to me. " I saw everyone exchange glances, I stayed silent and looked down. Some people looked at me, probably expecting me to be as happy and cheerful as my ocs, except that just isn't me. When Jeremy told me to look at him, I did so, suddenly. He kept that same sadistic smile on his perfect face. "Why don't you smile? Are you unhappy? Is there anything we can get you?" I shook my head no and looked down. "I'm just not comfortable around people, that's all," I mumbled, more into my napkin then at him. "Oh." He thought for a moment as we were all given the food we requested. He looked back at me, smiling again. "We'll help you with that." When he said that, I felt my heart drop into my stomach. I wasn't hungry anymore. I got up. "Alexis?" Jackie asked grabbing my wrist. I only got out of her grasp and muttered ,"I'm not hungry" before walking to my room.
When I got there, it didn't make me feel any better.
After about 10 minutes, I opened the door and made my way down to where everyone was still eating as Jeremy told them to encourage their followers to donate money to some fake charity. He said they should not try to leave or something misfortune would happen to them. I pressed my ear to the door as I listened. A few more minutes and I got bored so I went into a huge hedge maze outside in the garden. I wondered where were and how to leave. I shivered and was about to go back until I realized I was lost. Great. How big is this thing anyways? After what seemed like forever I got out but heard barking. I used my nails and kicked off my tennis shoes to climb the wall of the hedge maze. Three dogs snarled up at me. "Get lost, mutts!" I yelled while one sniffed at my shoes, now on the ground. They picked up my shoes before running off. "Hey!" I sighed and climbed down as my now bare feet touched a freezing cold puddle. With really no other option, I went inside and took a shower. When i went to get my clothes, they weren't there. Instead, it was the outfit I saw in my closet on the glass coffee table. I got into the outfit before falling asleep.
