Reflection [TW]

She was teased, taunted and lost
Though she never seemed to care
At least that's what they all thought
Until her fate came near

She trudged home from school, as slow as a snail
To her parents, not old and frail
But a mother who cared nothing for her
And her alcoholic father, who wanted her

She ran to her room tears filling her eyes
Seconds later, she saw a horrible sight
Her father standing in the doorway, as drunk as an ape
Now was the time, for her nightly rape.

When his pleasure was over, and so was her pain
She walked to the bathroom, to meet her fate
Into the bathtub, the saddened girl stepped
Now for her time, yes the girl's heart was chipped

With a slide of the razor and a silent, pained wail
The crimson tide was pouring down
A final exhale
Yes, this was it, the girl was gone.

When the news spread
The joy was lost
The school was all broken
Just like her young heart

So Don't harass others
As it might lead to death
Don't be the cause
Of one's loss of breath
