No Saving Them
November 25th, 2016Backing away towards the corner the angered animatronics helped Ellie up than came towards me with their colored glowing pupils staring straight at me. "Wait! I didn't mean it, I was just trying to help you guys by finally putting you all at rest" I shouted the words out staring back at them terrified . Rosy growled in response "All you did was try to break her, you don't realize that no matter what you say or do can't make our restless souls fall into peace we have been angered for so many years we're not even who we use to be anymore" she looked down at her hands and clutched them into fists "Ever since that day we've grown to enjoy what we've become and for so long have forgotten our childhood memories for as you can see there is no saving us now." Rosy shrieked and I desperately looked around for a weapon when I saw my broken gun I knew I had a chance to finish this. Once Rosy did her jumpscare I slid under her right before she could grab me I reached for the hard end of my gun, Rosy got up growling with rage I took the other half the gun quickly trying to reattach it I fill it with my backup bullets and at that moment Rosy charged at me again I lifted my rifle up at her, took aim, and BANG!
All went silent I stared at the sight of Rosy in her jumpscare position fall to her knees I do notice I have shot her in the neck for sparks flew out everywhere as she laid there motionless. All animatronics we're horrified, for I have killed Rosy and even if I can't save them I will put there madness to an end, standing up slowly I turn away from Rosy and look towards the horrified animatronics. They all give me looks of fear and anger towards me I knew that would happen I lift the rifle and aim it towards them seeing terrified faces crawl it's way across their faces "Don't shoot please, don't do this it's not the solution" Eren tried speaking but I ignored him as the sound of a bullet hits across his head than collapse to the floor. The others, ran for their lives til like with the police officers one by one they fall still and silent I walk around looking at them only to notice Ellie breathing in pained breathes.
I stand before her and she looks at me with her single glowing yellow eye and laughs "You think you've defeated us? You think just because you shoot us we'll be gone? Ha!" She cackled out ending with an error sound than looking back at me "This is only the beginning Luna, the beginning of our story" I looked at Ellie confused but before I could say anything her breathing went quiet and she laid motionless.
It's been ten hours since last night, I've fallen asleep in the arcade room but was awoken by the sounds of footsteps and somebody grabbing my arms pinning me face down on the floor. The officers have found me. "Luna Henderson you are placed under arrest for the death of Jonathan Brinks and damage to public property you are required to stay silent" The male cop spoke in a serious tone cuffing my hands and forcing back up onto my feet shoving me out the door I look back to the damaged animatronics lung still. Guilt tries creeping along my conscience but I only ignore it and whisper to myself; "No regrets, no turning back." I was soon shoved into the back seat of the cop car and as soon as the car took off I looked backed at Ellie's Diner and Arcade, smiled and looked down at my knees. Knowing that this would be the last I see that place ever again.
