Lurking Nightmares

Big Mistake

Running as fast as I can down the darkest areas of the alleys not once looking back I head behind the corner of a building gasping and huffing from exhaustion. Rifle safely around me I lean against the wall as I hear the sounds of footsteps coming towards me I go still and silent as they get closer but quickly stop I hear only what sounds like two men probably officers speaking to one another though I couldn't hear what they were saying when a flash of light shines around the corner I'm hiding at. Before they could come my way I make a quick run for it once more when a sudden feeling of fear and guilt knots up my stomach remembering before hand I shot the officers who thought I was murderer of Jonathan Brinks which I regret doing but I keep running and running til I stop at the one place I didn't wish to be at. Ellie's Diner and Arcade.

I run inside and stay silent ducking down behind an arcade game I see the lights of the officers flashlights shining through the windows. Waiting a whole five minutes but feels like hours the lights finally die away and quickly I peek from around the game to check if all is clear I sigh in relief now that they've finally gone. Almost forgetting I'm a horrified restaurant I hear the sound of distant metal footsteps coming my way and with only a mere flickering light above me I see the single shape of Ellie, the leader of this terror filled place. With her one eye glowing bright yellow she stare at me possessing a grim smile on her face. "I see you have returned and yet I thought we finally got rid of you when Rosy struck your arm as well as be framed for Brinks's death but I guess not" she looked at me with annoyance but I stood up in response and grabbed my rifle which immediately changed that animatronic cat's exppression to fear "Well not again, I'm not leaving that easily and not until I can end these cycles of deaths to many or few security guards before me once and for all" I aim my gun straight at Ellie the animatronic's eyes widening in terror "Wait don't shoot, you don't understand!" She shouted putting her hands up trying to back away from me. I only sighed in response and looked at her calmly "I'm sorry Ellie, but I can't let you or your friends do this anymore. It's time your souls rest in peace and also I do understand" I settled my hand on the trigger preparing to shoot. "Wait! You can't save us there is no way you can you'll only make it-" BANG! Before Ellie could finish her finally words the bullet hit her in the lower half of her mechanical thigh she collapsed with a thud glitch out her bottom half numb she tries dragging herself away only to be stopped by me stepping on her tail aiming my bottom end of the gun at her realizing I've run out of bullets "It's time to end this" I raised my gun high up in the air not listening to pleading cries of Ellie.
"Wait! Stop, don't do it!" She cried out though not caring my gun began to fall right towards her when something  grabbed it I look down shocked to notice Rosy grabbing the gun with one hand to stop me from hitting Ellie and the other to guard her. When I had no time to react that wolf animatronic overpowered me and tossed my weapon to the side, fear took hold me once Rosy spoke in her frightening voice "You mess with one of us, you'll mess with all of us and that is a big mistake" she hissed as the other animatronics came beside her. I only stood their terrified staring at them then to my rifle now broken from being tossed acrossed the room I gulped "Time to pay the price Luna and this time there is no escape."
