Chapter 1: Seg

I was asleep in my cell when suddenly the door opened and a bunch of soldiers burst in. I burst awake and screamed as they dragged me off my bed "Stop! I'm not eighteen yet" I yelled at them. At that moment they put a bracelet on me and knocked me out. When I woke up someone next to me was shaking "Huh what's happening?" I looked over at who it was and saw a beautiful girl. "W-Whoa..."

The girl smiled at me "Good you're awake. Hi I'm Yamilette" I was shocked but I gulped "Hi I'm Seg. Nice to meet you"


"Likewise" She said giggling a little


"So wait where are we" I asked finally noticing the seatbelt


"Oh. I see they didn't tell you. Well this is some sort of drop ship but... We're going to earth!"


"No way!" I exclaimed. I don't think I had ever been so excited about anything. This is amazing. Earth. I'm finally going home!


"Yes way. Now if I were you I'd get ready" She said


"Huh? Ready for wha-" At that moment the ship started shaking and at a rapid pace launched. It was at that moment I realized there was a bunch of other people I recognized on the ship. Including my best friend Birds. I smiled happily. At that moment someone unbuckled and was floating around.


"Hey what the heck are you doing?" Bird said scolding her.


"Please. What's life without risk. Besides it'll be a good thing if I die. So. Win win." She laughed. Then Yamilette growled


"Get in your damn seat Samantha"


The girl apparently named Samantha's eyes widened and then she sighed "Whatever." Then she floated back and sat in her seat


"Hey. Yamilette do you know her?"


Yamilette sighed "Yeah we've been good friends for a while, but in reality I'm more like her mother. She's always getting herself in trouble and I have to bail her out, but it gives me something to do I guess."


"What do you think Earth is like" I asked Yamilette


"Well... from what we learnt there's a good chance it's irradiated. So probably deadly"


I gulp a little "Yeah..."  


At that moment the drop ship made it into the atmosphere and everyone hit against their seat and the air got hotter. I started having trouble breathing but before I could say anything I was flung forward as the drop ship hit the ground. "Ow..." was all I could hear from everyone.


After everyone had adjusted we all unbuckled and opened the drop ship. At that moment the air reached our nostrils and mouths and this air felt so sweet. It was amazing. Then the girl named Samantha squealed in what sounded like delight and ran out onto the earth. "It's so amazing!! And there's no radiation!!!! Oh god yes!"


Then Bird sighed and patted me on the back "Welcome to earth buddy"


Everyone ran out and wrestled while laughing


But for some reason I just felt like something bad would happen. Deep in my gut. I hope I'm wrong
