Zidern

A brief encounter

Zidern was silent from what had happened at Murakamis but quickly dismissed the event as to not making things awkward between him and Neon "So how long till we get back" he finally spoke "About half an hour" she spoke. Neon brushed off the incident as quickly as he did not wanting to cause conflict over it all. They turned a corner and bumped into two people Casey Jones and April O'Neill "Oof" went zidern bumping straight into Casey "Hey watch it" he snapped turning around to face them "Dont mind him, he's just.... Hot headed at times" April spoke quickly.
Zidern and Neon were both silent since they were still in disguise "Huh cool scarf mind if I look at it" Casey said pulling Ziderns scarf of "No wait!" He cried but it was already too late and his face was revealed. Casey quickly pulled out a hockey stick assuming they were like any other mutant aside from the turtles, evil, mean, and menacing "Casey wait!" April slapped him quickly "Ow what was that for!"
He yelped Zidern hid behind Neon pressing his face into her back as she simply watched "There both mutants we can't trust em" Casey quickly uttered "Don't you think they would've attacked us by now if they were evil" She said obviously close to slapping him again "Okay fine....." He put the hockey stick back in his backpack "Who are you two" April asked still glaring at Casey who crossed his arms together with a red slap mark still shining bright red on his face. Zidern peaked out from behind neon "I'm z-zidern" he stuttered still a bit frightened and scared of Casey "I'm Neonnah" "and why are you two here?" Zidern quickly replied "We were just coming back from getting something to eat from Mr. Murakamis, he's my friend "Mr. Murakami, if youre friends with him then you must not be bad at all" Casey opened his mouth to say something rude and April briefly pushed his mask down onto his face to shut him up "Hey!" "Don't talk, you're just gonna keep scaring the little guy back their"
Zidern still stood behind Neon as she gently placed a hand on his shoulder "Come on their not gonna hurt us, I think...." You think...." He said slowly standing at her side "Well me and Mr. Rudeness have to go" she spoke. Casey rolled his eyes and started to walk away down the street "See you around I guess" Neon spoke and waved goodbye with zidern. After a few minutes of watching them walk they turned a corner and were gone. Zidern picked his scarf up off the floor and wrapped it around his face again "That guy was mean.... Not nice like you" He said looking up at the wolf "Come on let's get back to the train yard" she spoke petting his head a bit to calm him down. Ziderns ears curled back being a bit embarrassed about hiding behind her and needing a pat on the head for comfort.
After a while they made it back to the train yard around eleven thirty as Neon opened the train car and hopped inside with Zidern closing it behind them "Let's get some rest" "I wonder if we'll bump into them again" he spoke still a bit shaken up by Casey's hostility towards them "I doubt it, running into the same person in new York twice is like one in a million" she hugged him hoping he would finally calm down and rest for the night. He hesitantly hugged back and purred a little comforted by her presence and he quickly let go and curled up in his spot as she curled up in hers and fell asleep. "One in a million...." He said as he drifted off to sleep for the night
