Mel got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her and went back to her dorm. After Mel got dressed, a girl said. "You're Melody, the new girl, right?" and Mel said, "Yeah, but it's just Mel." Another girl interrupted their conversation and said, "She's the one who's trying Ryker." Mel's head shot quickly towards the girl and said, "Excuse me?" The girl smirked, "Didn't you hear me?" Mel looked over to the other girl and said, "Who's this?"
The girl interrupted again, "I'm Paris and does it matter?" Mel tilted her head and said, " Well Paris you should probably get your facts right!" Paris looked at Mel then walked off.
Mel was sitting on her bed with a girl whose name she didn't know. "Sorry to ask." Mel said. "but what's your name?" The girl put on a guilty face and said, "I'm so sorry but I'm Tamara."

"Is that going to be your new seat in lunch?" James asked Ryker. "I don't know, probably...I mean you guys she's really nice and sweet." Both James and Jordan looked at him and said, "Sweet?" Then Ryker was like, "Um, I'm guessing she is. Dudes calm down, I'm not in like...love." James raised his eyebrow and said, "Sure, right bro."

The next morning Mel put her uniform on and went to the cafeteria for breakfast. After Mel got her tray, she saw Ryker at the same table as yesterday, waiting for her. As Mel walked towards the table she felt joy inside. "Sleep well for your first night here?" Ryker asked. "Pretty good but had some drama before bed." Mel answered. "Your first night here and you're already got into trouble." Ryker said flirty. "Nah I'm kidding, but who with?" Mel and Ryker looked at each other then a door slammed and they both looked back. When they turned around they saw a girl with a boy all up on her. "Paris Johnson and Cam Walker, the supposedly best two people in the school." Ryker said. "That's her." Mel points out. "What? That's the one you argued with> What about?" Mel didn't expect him to ask, "Um, well...you." Ryker turned in shock. "Me? Why me?" Mel started to blush, "Um...It's not important, why?" Mel kept eating but she knew Ryker was looking at her and smiling.
