Perseverance 2

Oaktopus

They slept in the school that nigh, as they had spent the whole day exploring it. They woke up at four o'clock due to hearing something coming from the forest. They all ran over to see what was going on. Once they had got to the forest, they saw the silhouette of an octopus, combining closer and closer towards the frightened girls.
Milly began to slowly walk closer to it, followed by cara and crimson. She was brave, braver than cara atleast. As the octopus and the girls walked closer to each other, they realised it wasn't a colour that they had Been told about. It appeared to be made if wood, yet it could move exactly like a normal octopus. Milly grabbed the acubot.
"Oactopus. Has a thirst for the blood of humans since they trapped the colours underground. Has lost his colour due to too many negative thoughts."
"We... did what?" Cara asked, confused. At that moment, hundreds of wooden octopi flew at them. It was the hardest fight yet. They ducked, ran and jumped all the same but it was so hard to dodge. Milly's perseverance and crimson's determination was a big help but cara's integrity did nothing. She was hit many times as she tried desperately to stay alive. In the end it wasn't worth the trouble. She collapsed and hit the ground hard, followed by being hit many more times until, to oaktupus' delight, she was on the verge of death. Milly ran over to help but it was too late. Cara was dead.
"No no this can't be happening!" Milly yelled, but she knew very well that it was happening, too well. She cried over her best friend, the only friend she had ever had.
"I wonder how good perseverance is without integrity by her side," oaktopus laughed, and with that he disappeared.
