The acubot

The girls woke up early that morning, waking crimson up as well. Understandably, they wanted to get on with the exploration. Milly stood up and ran energetically past the town, dragging cara with her.
After walking for about half an hour, they found an old, abandoned school. Without further hesitation, they decided to explore. They split up, crimson of course going with milly, his loving, faithful owner. Milly and crimson explored the different classrooms whilst cara explored the hallways.
Despite the fact that they'd looked everywhere, drawers,  desks, cupboards, milly and crimson couldn't find anything mysterious or use full. However cara had found a crack in the wall housing a small device. She turned it on, intrigued. Milly walked over to cara, about to tell her that they couldn't find anything when they saw her looking intently at the device. Her pace quickened. She wanted to know what the strange yellow device was.
The strange device spoke in a robotic voice, "This is the acubot. If you take a picture of a creature you see around here, in will gladly tell you what it is." Cara and milly stared at each other in delight. Immediately, milly grabbed the device and took a picture of crimson.
"Determination dog. It acts the same as a dog on the surface would, except it has a lot of determination, way more than your average hound. It is a male puppy," explained the acubot. Cara smiled. It was going to be fun.
