Overshadowed
One week in Autumn, it happened. All hell broke out in the battlefield. Some of the Valerian soldiers fell and stood back up, others didn't stand again."Clank!"
Wait....someone was sword fighting? One of Valeria's knights went to check it out. He gasped and darted back to Princess Cana.

Her eyes widened in horror as Sonata fell to the ground. Suddenly, Cana felt the sting of an arrow in her chest. She collapsed as well, crawling towards Sonata. Eclipse left, so only Sonata, the Shadow and Cana remained. Cana grabbed Sonata's wingtip. They knew that their story ended here...
"Hey, remember when we were kids? We met under the old oak?" Cana nodded weakly. "I...." Sonata stopped speaking. His eyes closed and he lie there, dead..." Cana took a final exhale. Their wingtips still touched. At least they'd died together. Shadow Sonata removed his cloak and covered their bodies. "Sleep well, fallen one's." He said before disappearing into the night. Two more legends lost...
