Snape
Voldemort strolled through his dark house with Nagini around his shoulders, waiting for Snape to arrive. His feet became coated with dust after crossing the dining room just once. It had been nearly a month since Wormtail's disappearance. Voldy was not super concerned about the fellow's whereabouts. After all, the man had come crawling back before. He still bothered to look, though, for reason previously stated (second chapter)
Hearing about the gloomy and uncared-for interior makes you wonder what the outside of his house looked like. Well, it was just an average little two-story house, although the siding was darker and more weathered than any other of the neighbor's houses. The lawn was also quite overgrown. A wild, untrimmed hedge grew along the right side of the property (Robert and his tulips were on the left).
The sidewalk leading to Voldy's home was cracked and a lumpy old oak tree sprawled in the back yard. Basically, Voldemort's house was the kind of house that kids would dare each other to approach on Halloween, telling each other that it was haunted.
Halloween was, in fact, Voldemort's favorite holiday. He loved to carve pumpkins, although he wasn't very good at it. Once he had attempted a self-portrait. It had ended up more closely resembling a child's depiction of a troll.

Snape finally came around dinnertime, and with his arrival came the author's return to the storyline (more or less).
Voldemort foolishly tried skipping to the door. It was foolish because he was weighed down with a giant snake and the floor hadn't been replaced in decades.
Voldemort tripped several times and stubbed his toe quite painfully before he reached the door.
"Evening, Snape," Voldemort gasped, holding his injured foot.
"Master," Snape inclined his head respectfully. "Are you all right?"
"Yes," Voldy said unconvincingly as he began hobbling for the couch.
Snape paused at the window to watch a few children passing the house on the sidewalk.
"Is it Halloween already?" Voldy asked, looking over Snape's shoulder. Nagini, still around his neck, peered over Snape's other shoulder.
"I believe so," the greasy professor replied. He glanced at Nagini. Being so close to the large creature unsettled him.
"Well, then we'd better get some pumpkins carved!" Voldy exclaimed. He spun away and hurried to the cellar, completely forgetting why he had summoned Snape in the first place (to question him).
