The Broken: Horror House

first day new school

Kate POV

I woke up rested but not very excited to be going to school, I groan and got my pants and shirt. I put on my bra than my shirt which was a dark blue and long selves, I grab my pants and put them on and grab two Mitch match socks out the basket.  Yeah... I don't match my socks I see no reason. no one wont look at your socks anyway so it doesn't really matter well unless you had stalkers on than people will  notice, I thought to myself. I left out of my room to the kitchen where my mom already had blueberry pancakes on a plate for me mm..my favorite. I grab the plate from my mom and took my fork and took a bite of the blueberry pancake melted butter and sweet syrup enter my mouth as the pancake enter my mouth. before i notice it i was all done.

I sigh..my mom caught my sigh and asked whats wrong?

I was silent for a moment before saying well, i stated so low until looking up at my mom, to bad there isnt no more i finished showing her the plate.
She laugh as I smile, come on Katy lets get you to school she finally stops laughing grabs her coat and went out the door. I put my plate in the sink and grab my books from the table put on my coat and met her at the car.
She was already in enjoying some music when i finally sat down in the pasture seat.

She smile at me and asked are you ready?

I nodded and shrugged my shoulders i guess i say, still not very sure if being a new student is going to be fun or not I was mostly surprise that my mom was letting me go to a public school since the accident with Maggie she hasn't let me out of her sight, but this time she was letting me.

Mom, I asked what made you decide to let me go?

She breath heavily, and answer I thought that maybe it was time for us both to move on, and smile at me. I smile back, I can't believe she was letting me go.

Oh I hope people will like me I said as I look out the window.

My mom put her hand on my leg getting my attention.

I look at her and she was smiling, you be alright she said and stare at me a little longer smiling before finishing, Maliyah seem to like  you.
I smile back at her signaling that she might be right, she was right about Maliyah, she did seem to like me and wanted to be my friend, maybe i should give her a chance i thought to myself.  
Her smile widen a little as if she had heard my thoughts. She lean across the seats to give me a kiss on the forehead before buckling up and driving off.

It didn't take long to get here only about ten minutes so when we got here I felt my nerves go into shock I look at my mom who gestures me to go on. In some way it gave me confidence but than I realize that maybe confidence wouldn't be enough. I couldn't turn back now so I went on.
I shut the door after getting out of the car turn back to see my mom waving at me she shouted I love you,honey stay safe.

I smile at her and wave back love you to mom,I said as she begin rolling up the window I saw one last smile from her as i watch her drive off.

Something caught my attention across the street from me i see a bloody lady who held a knife in her hand beside her was a little girl holding the lady hand only the little girl had no blood on her only water.

She looked at me sadly, a message was written in her emotion it was saying help me save me,

The women on the other hand only show a motion of anger and murder it gave me shivers down my spine. She was here to hurt the living as for the little girl only wanting a friend, an escape from this monster, but she had no choice but to follow.

A car went by and I blank but when i look they were gone, they vanish into thin air as if they were never there. I ignore the thoughts that went through my head and continued towards the building which i would stay for six hours straight, feeling watch every step I took. I went inside and went to the office to get my schedule and my locker number, i went to my locker but was having major trouble with it so i try my best to open it but it still wouldn't budge until a familiar face come beside me and hit the locker hard and it open. I hate lockers, the girl said. I turn to the girl to say thank you but was surprise that it was Maliyah.
Hey, I said, she didn't look up at me she just silently left to her next class with her books. I quickly followed her struggled to keep up with her. I finally caught up with her and touch heron her shoulder she flinch in fear and turn around terrified of what she might see touching. I quickly put my hands back down seeing the fear written all over her face. She relax a bit when she saw it was me.

Maliyah, is there something wrong I said worried for her, again she didn't answer and just kept searching for her first class.

I quickly caught up with her again and asked what class you have first? She spun around and show me her schedule to me and I compare it with my we had three classes together and the same lunch i got excited but my excitement only made Maliyah tense up. I saw the  worry again in her eyes as she quickly took the schedule from me and went to the last door where her class was im guessing since she went inside and didn't come out. So, I went to find my and found it all  the way on the other hall.  I went inside to see twenty-four students looking at me. A few of them giggle with there friends I just ignore them and walk towards the teacher. He was strony man with big thick glasses and wore a lab coat,telling me this was probably a Chemistry Class, ugh.. I hate Chemistry. He took the note and read it before allowing me find a seat.
He clear his throat, students we have a new student with us Katrina Diamond.

I stood up so everywhere could see me I wave shyly at them all.

Katrina could you tell us where your from? he asked at this moment everyone was staring at me including the teacher. i nodded slowly and cautiously swallow down my fear of public speaking.

I'm from North Dakota, I finally said, and I just move here I finished quickly and sat back down.

The teacher nodded than continued with his lesson. I sat by a window I looked out the window that showed a tree branch and below the parking lot. I stare out and wonder about how Maliyah reaction what could possibly be wrong.

After a lecture of non-stop educational talk I had survived four classes of non-stop learning it was finally time for lunch I rushed out of there like everyone else. I enter into the Cafeteria and got in line and waited for a good five minutes before finally getting a peanut butter lunch box. The food they were serving  looked gross so i decided to get this instead its the only thing in here that didn't look like it would get you sick. Most of the other students had there on lunch or didn't eat anything at all. After signing my name since I didn't have any ID Number like everyone else I found Maliyah sitting down alone at a back table playing with a piece of lettuce.

I walked over to her and pull a chair from the table she looked up at me and quickly try to get up. I grab her arm not letting her go Maliyah, I said softly i'm trying to reach out to you why do you keep pushing me away? You know how hard it is for me to do this.. whats wrong? I finished and looking into her fearful sad eyes. She looked away and back up at me and sigh, and sat back down.

I smile at my victory but it quickly went away when I saw her reaction again something was definitely wrong with her.

Maliyah POV

I sat back down although I wasn't very comfortable of doing so. I knew she wanted to reach out to me because I saw the determination that I had when I first met her. Well, until my experience in the house it change me now all I want  to do is curve up i the ball and try to cry the pain away.
All I felt now is depression and regret but it isn't my feelings it was that creature that woman. I didn't know how I could tell her I didn't think she was believe me, but i wanted to tell  someone I just don't know if she the one I  should tell but I have to try.

Kate, I finally said she looked at me I don't know how to escape her, i finally finished tears fill my eyes the thought of not being able to escape scared me and who was I to turn too. She looked at me shock before dumping her lunch in the trash.

She came back and sat beside me and looked into my tearful eyes tell me what happen she demand and I begin not knowing that she would believe me at all.
