When The Races finally finish, I meet up with my parents and we go home. I know what will be happening on TV. They'll announce the next Festival, and I hope beyond anything else it's tomorrow night. Each month, there is a Festival held for each Zodiac sign, and on the festival day all the people turning 15 that month are official 15 year-olds. We're given our access passes to the 15+ areas, and the Council member representing that Zodiac is introduced. My mother's voice interrupts my train of thought.

"We're home Celine, hurry or the doors will close on you." I step out of our car and walk into my house. My parents can tell I'm waiting for the Festival date to be announced, so they don't reprimand me when I dash over to the TV and turn it on without looking at anyone else. I tap buttons on the remote until I find the news channel. A handsome announcer stands there, his eyes on the camera.
"I'm Kaleem, and I can sense the anticipation for the announcement of this month's Festival date. But first..."

So of course, the news caster Kaleem launches into useless tidbits I already know. What time the Festival is (Starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 a.m.)
Where it is (The same place for every Cancerian festival, by the beach) and of course, the fact that the new Council member will be announced. Finally, the time comes.
"Now, I hope you don't have any plans for tomorrow night, because you'll have to cancel them to go to the Festival!"

At first the words don't register. Then I know exactly what he said. "OH MY GOSH THE FESTIVAL IS ON MY BIRTHDAY!" I squeal and run up to my room. I have to HoloChat Taylor ASAP. By the time I run up the stairs, My HoloChat platform is already glowing, obviously someone's trying to contact me now. I double tap the center to answer the message, and Taylor's form appears on the platform.

"Did you hear? Did you hear?!" Taylor asks excitedly, jumping up and down causing her holographic image to become blurry. I nod, and jump up and down with her happily. "The way we're acting reminds of those people we learned about in Has-Been History, they were called Windgirls and Windboys or something?" I say. Taylor laughs.
"FANgirls and FANboys Celine," Taylor tells me and rolls her eyes.
"I can't believe I forgot! That was my favorite lesson," I say and giggle. Taylor and I resume our excited jumping.

"We need to get ready! We need to pick out outfits! Oh my gosh there's so much to do!" I say. "Taylor nods. "I'll HoloChat you tomorrow when we're both ready, I can't wait to see how you look!" Taylor makes the moves forward to hang up, and her image disappears.

I'm feeling pretty shallow at the moment really, obsessing over hair. But maybe I'll meet a Sagittarius while I'm there! I remembering learning in Has-Been History that guys asked girls "What's your sign?" as something called a "pick-up line" sounds kind of cheesy to me, but it makes me laugh whenever I think about it. People of all Zodiac signs will be at the Festival, and I'm determined to look half-way decent. Maybe a guy might ask me what my sign is. I hope I don't laugh in his face...
