Chapter 10: The mercenary arrives

Jack and Vanessa were at HQ. They were researching Lucifer and satanic items. They were trying to predict where the portal would be opened.
Suddenly, an alarm began buzzing. Jack and Vanessa sprang to their feet.
"What's going on?" Jack asked.
"Something is attacking HQ," Vanessa replied. "Let's go."
They got their weapons and ran out the door. The place was being destroyed by a demon. There were dead hunters all over the place. Jon and Morgan joined Jack and Vanessa. They all ran to where the demon was. He was possessing a man.
"Who the hell are you?" Jack demanded.
"Call me Kai Asuka," the demon replied. "I was sent to destroy you Jack."
The man was about six foot five. He was albino and wore lab clothes.
"You are going down," Jon said.
Jon drew a gun as did Morgan. They opened fire, but the bullets seemed to do nothing. Kai smiled and his eyes glowed red. Jon and Morgan's bodies literally busted in half. Blood went everywhere and they were both dead.
"Now Jack... Vanessa," Kai said. "Time for you to die."
Kai rushed towards them. He tried to punch Jack. Jack ducked to the side and punched Kai in the side. Vanessa swung her sword, Kai caught it with his hand. He pulled Vanessa close and hit her with a hard headbutt. She was knocked back a few feet.
Jack punched Kai in the face twice. He then hit Kai in the mouth with a hard elbow. Kai staggered back. Kai then had his claws grow about eight inches. Jack drew his sword. He blocked Kai's claws and sliced off Kai's hand. He then hit Kai in the mouth with the sword handle. Kai staggered back, and Jack thrusted his sword through Kai's chest. Vanessa ran and stabbed Kai in the head with her sword.
Kai just smiled and punched Jack and Vanessa, knocking them both back. He pulled the swords out of him and threw them to the ground.
"You should know that you can't kill me," Kai said. "You can't kill a demon, Jack. You can't stop the rise of Lucifer. You have already lost, Jack."
Jack stood up. He was hurt, but he smiled. He drew his holy knife that Allison gave him.
"Come get me," Jack told him. "I am not afraid of you."
Kai flew at Jack. Jack threw the knife and hit Kai in the throat. Vanessa ran and kicked the knife deeper into Kai's throat.
Kai began to glow a bright light. Then Kai's body exploded. The knife flew at Jack, and he caught it by the handle. Kai was completely gone.
"We did it," Vanessa said. "We killed a demon. We just made history."
"Indeed," Jack replied.
Lightning struck the building and a fire started. The blaze was moving very quickly.
"GO!" Jack yelled.
Vanessa and Jack ran out the nearest door that was a few feet away. Just after they got out, the entire building collapsed. The entire building was destroyed. Headquarters was no more...
