Decisions, decisions...

My feet squelch on the shimmering, tiled floor. Squelch Squelch. My mind races as I brace myself for the sight that is yet to come. Squelch. I fiddle with the tacky earing on my ear. I'm being followed. The room where he's in pops into view, and my heart bursts with longing as I run towards the door. Someone's following me. Someone grabs my hand before I can grasp the doorknob, someone pushes me back and I see that someone.

"Shay?" He grins and flicks his tousled hair back, "The one and only!"I try to go for a grin but it falters before it reaches my lips. Which are now tingling. "Let me take you home." His arm snakes around my shoulder. "NO! Your brother's in that room, unconcious. Your brother, my boyfreind!" A frown slowly spreads on Shay's face, "but I thought you told him..." "How can I now?" I sigh, raking my thick, brown hair with my fingers. Before I can reach out for the door again, I feel something soft land on my lips, something as soft and smooth as velvet. Shay runs his hands down my back while a series of long, delicous kisses rains on me. I tugg him closer and slam him into the opposite wall, it feels so good I'm unable to stop. A delighted groan escaped the edges of my lips.

"Oh."
A voice makes us spring apart. There in front of us is a pained looking Jake, with his leg in a crutch, his arm in a sling and his head bandaged. Oh crapp oh crapp oh crapp. My boyfreind saw me making out with his brother. My boyfreind who almost died in a car crash 2 days ago. "Jake!" He falls backwards onto the hard floor and I hear a faint crack, 3 nurses rush from around the corner towards him and block me from reaching him.

"HOW COULD YOU?" I swivel towards Shay and a minute later his cheek is a shade of vibrant crimson and my hand stings from the slap. "It was as much your fault as it was mine" he mumbles and although I push him away, I know it's true. I did kiss him back.
