Christmas eve part 2
Lexa:I was surprised when I received an invitation to Rose’s Christmas party. She new Ginny and I were kind of friends so that must have been why. I felt underdressed in my black leggings, white sweater, and fake gold necklace. I knew I should have worn my black skirt as well. I would probably leave early because the party was rather boring. My mom made me go because she wanted me to get out of the house.
I went down her hall a little to get away from the noise. After a little while I heard faint voices.
“You invited Lexa to the party”, Ginny questioned?
Someone else spoke I’m pretty sure it was Rose, “Yeah aren’t you guys friends”.
“Well I guess we barely ever speak”, Ginny replied.
I felt a little hurt, more hurt than I should be.
“Gin hon I’m not blind”
“What’s that supposed to mean”
“I see the way you look at her”
I was suddenly confused. Everyone was silent.
Rose spoke again, “its obvious don’t try to be someone that your not Ginny it’s just hurting you”.
“I don’t want to be! I really don’t”
Bye now I could hear Ginny crying “my parents are going to kill me. Is Ryan still single? I need to date Ryan! I can do that. It’s not true! It can’t be true!”
“I don’t think you really want to date Ryan”.
“I’m not gay and besides Ryan is pretty cute”.
I gasped...Ginny liked me.
“You mean you cant be gay because Ginny I’m pretty sure you are”.
“I’m not. Please call Ryan I think I’m ready to date now”.
“Fine”.
“I’m not”, Ginny practically screamed.
I ran back to the party before anyone could catch me.
