Under the moonlight
You honestly were sad about your outcast situation, but the thought of vampires always cheered you up. People were even noticing it themselves. Your parents never really cared what you did, and they basically did anything to keep you out of the way of their jobs and work. They even had enough money to rent 3 houses at once for about a whole month. As long as you asked to use money for something affordable, your parents just gave you what you needed to get it. This gave you an opportunity to buy the whole Twilight series, including movies. You even got a poster from Twilight saga with Edward and Bella on the front.
Tonight, things were gonna change. Your parents said that you can stay up as long as you want. You went into the woods you spent time in during the day. You made sure to bring anything you needed to protect yourself at night. You thought your parents were trying to get rid of you, but that wouldn't have been that theory. One time in the first week at the new school, a bully gave you a very noticeable bruise on your right arm, and it was bad for him that you always wear T-shirts (unless it's cold of course). Your parents almost sued the school for not guaranteeing safety for students.
The only reason he punched your arm in the first place was because of how you loved vampires, and how your skin was pale. He thought that he would try to make everyone call you "Vampire loser". the only thing he could do was give you the punch before a teacher caught him. Anyway, you were using your flashlight to find a place to relax and have a nice time before it got too dark for you to set up. You have a lamp, but the flashlight is better for navigating.
You got a book from the public library. The title read "The Vampire Book". It was a book on vampire facts. (this is a legitimate book) You knew the basics of vampires, they can't be in sunlight, they hate onions, and they can attract people and lure them in with their looks alone. You never found any vampire "attractive", but you knew they were sometimes sexual beings. You honestly like how a vampire can be any animal of the dark.
You love vampires, but you always carried a cross necklace your grandmother gave you when you were 12. Vampires can't stand crosses, crucifixes, and other religious symbols. The chain broke, and you had to wait for it to be fixed, so you weren't wearing it at the time. As you were reading the book, you learned new things about vampires like their powers, weaknesses, and what can prevent them from an attack. Your eyelids are starting to get heavy. You decided to pack up and head home.
*SNAP*
You turn your head to the direction of the sound. "Who's there!?" You shouted.
There was no response. Maybe it was an animal. A raccoon probably. The moon started shining where the noise originated. There was nothing there. Whatever it was, you probably scared it off. You looked at the cover of the book. You stood there for a second and turned around to walk home. As you made a U-turn, you ran into something. You looked up to see a 5'9'' male with white hair on the right half and red on the other. (You're 5'3'' in this story) He seemed to have Heterochromia, his left eye was blue, the other was grey.
All the male did was look you in the eyes and said; "What's someone like you doing out here this late?" You were tired, and usually strike a bit of an attitude when you are.
You glared at him half sleepily, and said; "I should ask you the same thing candy cane." He seemed a little offended, and you kinda regret saying that. "Hey, i'm sorry, i'm just tired and trying to go home." You said tiredly. He gave a hum in response, and held out his hand. Then you realized what he was wearing. "Maybe I can help you get home?" You were suspicious of him, he just met you and offered to take you home. You felt like he was trying to trick you.
"Is this some sort of kidnapping?" The male looked really confused. "What? No. I'm not the type of person to do that." You honestly knew he wasn't lying. You're good at telling when someone lies, and he definitely wasn't lying. You put the book in your bag. Then you decided to take hold of his hand. His expression stayed monotone. Then out of nowhere he picks you up bridal style. "W-whoa! What are you doing!?"You screamed in fear and confusion. "Hold on tight." Was his only response.
Then everything seemed to speed up, and everything was passing by fast. You buried your face in the male's chest to avoid the intensity of wind in your face. In about a minute, you were out of the woods, and you saw your house. You looked at the male in shock as he set you down. You tried to ask him a question, but you kept stuttering, but finally you got the question out.
"Who-...What... Are you?"
He didn't smile. and responded; "My name is Shoto Todoroki...." He made a dramatic turn away from you and turned his head back to look at you. "And i'm a vampire."
You saw his fangs as he talked. He walked into the woods and you just stared at amazement, and disbelief. You knew that humans can be attracted to vampires by their looks, but it had no effect, you thought maybe vampires just use it when they want to like their other powers.
You went inside and went to your room and laid down in your bed thinking....
'Have I lost my mind, or have vampires always existed?'
