Chapter 3--- Picture of Ryan
Ryan sauntered into his 11th grade homeroom with his jock friends surrounding him. He was, after all, the leader of the group. It was to be expected. But what he didn't expect was the scenario that would happen that afternoon."Ryan! What's up, bro?" His friend Prescott slapped him on the back in a manly greeting.
"Not a lot. Just chillin' with my bros." He smiled at Prescott and continued. "The only guy we were missing was you."
"Damn right you were. Hey, at study hall, think you can sneak out? I have an... idea, lets call it."
"Guess so. Pickle Brine never cares anyways."
"Good! See ya then!" Prescott then walked over to his usual seat and plopped down contentedly.
Ryan turned to head to his seat only to find Matthew, the geek, sitting in his seat. "Hey, dude, get outta my seat."
"I don't see your name on it." Matt retorted snarkily.
"Well I do." Ryan snapped, and shoved Matt out of the seat roughly. He fell to the ground and Ryan slid calmly into his seat.
"Hey! You- You can't do that!" Matt stuttered, stumbling to his feet.
"Oh yeah?" Ryan leaned down to look Matthew it the eye. "Well I. Just. Did." The whole class erupted in laughter as Matt stood and fled the classroom embarrassedly.
"Nice one, Ryan!" Prescott cheered, holding his hand up for a five. Ryan gave him one but felt a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. He had expected to feel happy and proud to have shown Matt who was boss. But, surprisingly, he didn't. Rather, he felt a strange, uneasy feeling sitting there. But he only shrugged it off. He'd figure that out later.

"Please... stop... ow!" Owen hollered as the other 9th graders pummeled him relentlessly.
"Look at the wittle wimpy boy..." The bully, Dave laughed.
"He's sooooo pathetic!" Anthony jabbed, kicking Owen in the gut.
"Poor wittle baby needs help, huh?" Another boy, Simon, teased.
"Stop!" A voice boomed from behind the bullies and all three turned around.
"Leave my brother alone." It was Jack. In a dark, forbidding voice he growled at them and pointed towards the school building. This wasn't the first time these boys had hurt his little brother; next time, they were toast.
"We're going... We're going... Jeez." Dave mumbled. As he walked by the older boy, Jack's arm shot out and grabbed the back of Dave's collar, suspending him above the ground.
"If I catch you boys one... ONE... more time..." He trailed off and set the boy down. Then the threesome ran off, entering the school building once more.
"Thanks..." Owen mumbled and Jack helped him to his feet.
"No problem. Now let's go get you cleaned up and to class, okay?"
"Okay." So Owen followed Jack to the boys bathroom, and Jack cleaned his face, checked to make sure nothing was broken or bloody, and dusted off his shirt.
"There. Now go to class."
Owen nodded and headed out the bathroom door, then turned. "Thanks, Jack."
Jack smiled, and nodded. "Just go to class, Owen, just go to class."

Would you mind if I co-wrote this with you? I kind of accidentally wrote up an entire character, backstory, and plot for the rest of this. :">
So could you fill me in at least a bit, especially if I'm going to be co-writing?
BTW, wanna hear about my character?

2. A truancy officer is pretty much a police officer that puts kids out of school during school hours without a pass in juvenile detention.
3. Beig in school would require a parent's or guardian's signature.
4. Mkay

2. I guess that they're in school so that they don't get caught by a truancy officer?
3. Doesn't that require parent's signatures?
4. Why doesn't PJ just adopt everyone but Owen? If he's 21, he legally actually can. See More
