Chapter 2--- Picture of Owen
"Morning Sleepyhead!" PJ laughed, ruffling Owens bed hair.
"Hey, Jack's still sleeping, too!" Owen protested with a smile.
"But Ryan and Zack are up, mate." He motioned to the table where the two boys were quickly devouring pancakes.
Owen's eyes lit up. It had been a while sense he had eaten a good meal. Plopping down into a seat he grabbed two pancakes and plopped them onto his plate. He then spread butter onto the warm pancake and poured the rich, amber colored syrup over it. He grabbed a fork and took a bite. "These are really good, PJ!"
"Thanks, Owen!" PJ beamed.
Then a sleepy-eyed black-brown haired boy stumbled into the kitchen.
"Jack! You're awake!" Owen hopped out of his seat and pulled Jack over to a seat. "Eat! The pancakes are really good!!!"
Jack smiled and sat down. "Really, Owen, sometimes you act like a 4 year old."
"Do not!!!" Owen protested, swatting Jack playfully on the arm.
"Don't hit, Owen, it's not nice." Jack teased, taking a bite of his own pancake.
"Would you shut up?"
"Shut up is a bad word, Owen."
"Jack!!!"
"Owen!!!"
"Quit it!" Owen laughed, shoving Jack.
"Don't push me, little man!" Jack shoved Owen back.
"Owwwww!" Owen fake moaned. "That hurt soooooooo much!!!"
"Sure it did." Jack answered, and continued to eat.
Once all the boys finished eating they got dressed and headed out to the bus stop, backpacks slung over their shoulders. Everyone except Zack still attended the high school; Zack went to a nearby collage. He had recently had a break, but it was back to school today.
"Here comes the bus. Time for another awesome day at school." Ryan grumbled.
"Why don't you just drive to school?" Owen asked.
"Too much work this early in the morning. Besides, PJ won't let me, he's afraid I'll skip."
"Well, I would be, too." Jack teased.
"Course you would. I'm a regular badass." Ryan smirked as Owen giggled.
"Don't swear in front of the little one, Ryan." Jack snickered.
"I can swear!!!" Owen protested as they climbed onto the bus.
"Sure, and get your ass beat," Ryan laughed. "PJ doesn't like me swearing, he's yelling at me all the time for it."
"It's true." Jack confirmed.
"Whatever." Owen slid into a seat, Jack plopping down next to him. Ryan walked to the back to sit with his friends.
"Why don't you sit with your friends?" Owen asked. He had asked this question before, but it was good to make sure Jack hadn't changed his mind.
"Because your my brother. And brothers watch out for each other." Jack said simply. It wasn't a secret that Owen was often bullied; almost everybody knew it. So Jack had taken it upon himself to make sure Owen made it out of the day alive. It wasn't always easy, seeing as though Owen was a grade lower than Jack, so he had installed a special button on Owen's cellphone that, when pressed, set on automatic text or call to Jack telling him he was in trouble. It also automatically broadcasted his location, making it easier for Jack to find where Owen was.
"Okay. Thanks, Jack."
"It's no problem, Owen, no problem at all."

Would you mind if I co-wrote this with you? I kind of accidentally wrote up an entire character, backstory, and plot for the rest of this. :">
So could you fill me in at least a bit, especially if I'm going to be co-writing?
BTW, wanna hear about my character?
3. There are secrets to be told... I guess... XD
2. A truancy officer is pretty much a police officer that puts kids out of school during school hours without a pass in juvenile detention.
3. Beig in school would require a parent's or guardian's signature.
4. Mkay
5. Mkay.

2. I guess that they're in school so that they don't get caught by a truancy officer?
3. Doesn't that require parent's signatures?
4. Why doesn't PJ just adopt everyone but Owen? If he's 21, he legally actually can. See More
5. What's the plot?
