Horrible Grades

Dear Diary,

I forgot my homework last night and now my grades are bad. That homework that I forgot just happened to be a test, too. I accidentally gave it to Muffin when I got home and so it ripped. Then I accidentally threw it away. And I accidentally let Mom take out the trash with the test in it. Dana tattled on me, though, so I got grounded and I'm only allowed to do my homework in the living room now. I'm so mad at Dana.
We had a discussion in class today about slavery. I was asked why slavery was bad. I said, "Because you shouldn't take people and put them in ropes and make them do your work for you. But that is what school is. In school teachers force the kids to do work for them." I got a bad grade and I also got sent to the principal's office, where Mrs. Peterson made me sit on her green couch. When I got to go back to class, she handed me a lollipop and whispered that she personally thought my answer was hilarious and she hates school too.
